Der Nadelarm B, Fig. 1 und 2, .ist mittelst der Augen c c¹ und Körnerschrauben s s¹ in schwalbenschwanzförmigen Führungsstücken// \ welche in Nuthen η η¹ des Gestelles A A¹ gleiten, gelagert. Die Hin - und Herverschiebung des Nadelarmes wird bewerkstelligt durch den bei ν drehbar gelagerten Doppelhebel V, dessen einer Arm von der Daumenscheibe G auf der Maschinentriebwelle bethätigt wird und dessen anderer gegabelter Arm mittelst Augen u u¹ gelenkig mit den Führungsstücken ff¹ verbunden ist. Eine am Drehpunkt ν befestigte und sich gegen den Doppelhebel V lehnende Feder t¹ bedingt ein Zurückziehen des Nadelarmes nach seiner Vorwärtsschiebung. Auf diesem führt sich in einem Schlitz der Nadelarm B, welcher sich während des gewöhnlichen Nähens durch die Schraube t feststellen läfst. In Fig. 6 ist der Nadelarm bei ο in zwei Körnerspitzen gelagert, welche in den Enden eines Bügels k k^l ihre Lagerung finden.
