Description

Method for gluing bodies made of dense hard or soft rubber on other objects. Experience has shown that it is difficult and imperfect vulcanized hard or soft rubber with other substances, especially rigid ones Bodies, such as B. to the floor and walls of a building, by gluing to unite. According to the invention, however, such a union can be found Easily and permanently manufacture by using the vulcanized ztt connecting surface Rubber body covered with a tightly adhering thin layer of porous rubber and an adhesive such as glue, pitch, resin or the like is applied thereon. as The one made from rubber milk according to patent specification 42577o has proven to be particularly suitable Manufactured porous rubber proved to be a very large number of the finest Contains pores into which the adhesive penetrates and thus the bond becomes a very solid power. The lining of the rubber body with a layer of this porous Rubber is advantageously done simultaneously with the manufacture of the body by the non-vulcanized or weakly vulcanized body with a layer of thinner or thickened, sulfur-mixed rubber milk coats them into one solid jelly solidifies and the whole thing preventing the release of water vulcanized. Instead of this porous rubber one can, albeit less advantageously, use the usual sponge rubber to cover the rubber body to be glued. Such a layer can also be produced simultaneously with the body by the unvulcanized body with a layer of such unvulcanized rubber which, in addition to sulfur, evolves gas when heated and so contains the pore-creating substances. Of course, both of them can named types of porous rubber also in finished form with the finished rubber body united "= grounding them in thin layers with a sulphurous rubber solution sticks to the body, and due to its porosity, the solvent very quickly evaporates, and then the residues of the rubber solution vulcanized by heating.

PATFNTANSPRÜCHE: i. PATENT CLAIMS: i. Method for gluing bodies made of dense hard- or soft rubber on other objects, characterized in that the body on the surface to be bonded coated in a known manner with porous rubber and is connected to this by vulcanization, whereupon the porous rubber means the usual adhesives, such as glue, pitch or resin, is glued to the objects. 2. The method according to claim z, characterized in that according to the method the patent specification 425 77o produced from rubber milk, a large amount of the finest possible Porous rubber containing pores is used.
