Description
Method of elimination of interference when receiving in the wireless Telegraphy. The subject matter of the invention is a method which allows by modulating a high frequency oscillation using low or medium frequency to generate a frequency shifted from the original high frequency and thereby an improvement in reception in wireless communication for the elimination of interference from third-party transmitters and certain atmospheric interference to enable.
The basic idea of the invention is based on the fact that the modulation the incoming high frequency vibrations of a different frequency to the receiving system than they correspond to the incoming wave. An embodiment is intended to explain the invention in more detail. The figure shows a circuit in which two electron tubes V1 and V connected against one another are used. The incoming high frequency acts on the coil L1, e.g. B. that of the antenna A or any other receiving system, supposed to have a frequency of 20,000 periods. As can be seen from the circuit, this frequency acts on the grids of the two Tubes V, and V., in the same sense. A smaller one also acts on the coil L. Auxiliary generator with a frequency of, for example, 3,000 periods. These vibrations affect the two grids of the tubes Vl and V. in opposite directions.
By looking at the non-linear part of the tube characteristic works, is known to arise in the output circle of the two tubes that in rhythm the low frequency modulated high frequency oscillation. A modulated high frequency oscillation but can be represented as the sum of two undamped oscillations, whose Frequencies equal to the sum and the difference of the high frequency and the modulating Frequency are. For the numerical values given, it is. so the two frequencies 17000 and a3 ooo. Of these two oscillations is in the one with the anode circuit coupled oscillation circuits I modulated by voting one of the two Frequencies strongly emphasized, specifically the lower frequency. These Frequency is fed to the receiver E and can be adjusted with the help of a superimposed im Telephone T can be made audible.
This frequency shift makes it possible to use a lower frequency To let the frequency act on the receiver than that of the incoming wave. Through this a better selection effect can be achieved, as a reflection is easy shows the percentage difference of the lower modulation frequencies, which by the reception frequency and an interference frequency generated is greater than the percentage Difference between the reception frequency and the interference frequency itself.
This method is particularly suitable for receiving long waves.
Compared to the apparatuses used up to now, the object described has the advantage that the incoming high frequency (20,000 according to the example) is suppressed as a result of the connection of the tubes V1 and V2 against each other and in this way a pure modulation effect is created, so that the circuit I only from the frequency resulting from modulation ( 17,000 in the example) is excited, because the second modulation frequency (23,000) is so different from the resonance frequency of the circuit i that it cannot cause any noticeable influence. If a single tube had been used in the usual way, to which the two frequencies 2o,000 and 3,000 had been fed through superimposition, the incoming frequency of 2o,000 and a number of other frequencies would have been very pronounced in the output circuit of the tube. It would therefore be much more difficult to remove the frequency of 20,000 from the circuit I by selection alone, while the frequency of 23,000 is naturally easy to remove in the circuit according to the invention.
