Anordnung zum Überwachen der Lautstärke bei Schallaufnahmen. Einrichtungen
Arrangement for monitoring the volume during sound recordings. Facilities
for converting sound energy into electrical ones are known as microphones, e.g.
in connection with telephone lines with or without amplifiers, transmitters for wireless
Telephony, etc. All of these arrangements have a limit on their undistorted receptivity.
If you want to use them as much as possible, without distortions from the so-called

too much nor too little sound energy hits.
So far, for this purpose, e.g. when recording wireless performances,
a surveillance officer equipped with a bugging device is appointed who
notified the originator of the sound by means of signs. however, this route is expensive
and inadequate, on the one hand, because the ear of the supervising officer is tired and less sensitive
on the other hand, because communication works too slowly. So it was

The method has the disadvantage that the galvanometer indicator is subject to fluctuations
cannot follow quickly enough and, as a result, fluctuates around the true value.
In addition, the originator of the sound does not always have time to use such a display device
to be observed, since he thereby From his manuscript, sheet of music or the like. diverted
will.
The usual procedure, the speech currents through attenuation resistors'
or the like. to regulate is therefore imperfect because the microphone shouts over it
is not excluded.
Furthermore, an arrangement is known in which the permissible limits

einzelnen Punkte ihres gesamten zulässigen Bereiches erkennen.
The subject of the invention is an arrangement in which all the disadvantages
the known devices are avoided. This is done by having an in
The glow tube arranged directly in the field of vision of the originator of the sound
is controlled by the speech streams. This, in contrast to the arrangements,
using the pointer instruments, initially a completely inertial determination

present that the lecturer cannot follow the display device sharply with his eyes

having to avert. The glow tube can be removed as far as desired from the amplifier or the like
since only low frequency currents are to be transmitted. Compared to the known, with
Glinimröhren working control circuits, therefore, the present has the advantages
that it immediately communicates the volume entering the microphone to the speaker
indicates itself without the involvement of a second person. Besides, it doesn't show
only limits the volume allowed, but leaves the volume in each

of the invention is that in one with the recording iikrophonen in connection

of the cathode case is connected in series with the glow tube. The glow tube receives
preferably an elongated shape with a long, wire-shaped anode.
