Zusatz zum Patent 392 920.Addendum to patent 392 920.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 7. Februar 1924 ab. Das Hauptpatent hat angefangen am 27. März 1923. Patented in the German Empire on February 7, 1924 . The main patent started on March 27, 1923.
The main patent includes a drive and lifting circuit for direct current main current motors described, in which the first driving positions are designed as braking force controls at the same time are. The field of the motor is divided into two parts in a manner known per se, and the connection point of the two field parts lies on the one hand over one field part and a rheostat and parallel to it via the Mator armature at one of the network poles, on the other hand, it is connected to the other pole via a variable resistor.
The patent seeker stated as the inventor:

The subject of the invention is an embodiment of this circuit in which the controller and the circuit are significantly simplified in that the two variable resistors for the two field parts are combined into a single variable resistor in a manner known per se in motors with an undivided field. This is done according to the invention in that the connection point ίο of the two field parts on the one hand lies over the field part / 2 directly on the .ein network pole P and on the other hand both over the field part Z 1 and a control resistor and over the armature α and part of the same control position on the other network pole N Eegt.
The figure shows seven circuit diagrams (1 to 7), which correspond to the circuit diagrams corresponded to Fig. 1 of the main patent.
The field part / 2 lies between the connection point A of the two field parts and the one network pole P. The field part f t is connected to the other network pole via the resistors w. The armature «is parallel to the field part f x and a part of the series resistor w, which is highlighted by hatching. In the circuit according to diagram 2, the resistance connected upstream of the armature is smaller and that parallel to the armature, in series with the field part /! switched resistance greater. In circuit diagram 3, the field part Z 1 is short-circuited, so that only the field part / 2 can be used as the motor field. In circuit diagram 4, the connection between point B of the field part f t and the resistor w is completely interrupted. The motor now runs as a main current motor with full field excitation with a part of the resistor w connected upstream. In the following circuit diagrams, the series resistor is gradually reduced until it is completely switched off in circuit diagram 7. The regulation of the motor can also be influenced at the same time by means of the sliding contact; which is connected to the Nietzpol N.
