Procedure for lifting and turning over worn on the inside
Rails. The railroad tracks must, if you drive them with your fingers, and at your
Inside are worn out as a result, rotated so that the hitherto inside
Side of the rail comes to lie on the outside. This work requires as a result of the
the great weight of the rails a larger number of workers.
The present invention has the purpose of doing this work with only two
People, whereby the hitherto necessary workers for
other
Purposes become free. In the drawing is an embodiment of the new
Method of using equipment is shown, namely Fig. I shows the lifting device
of the rail to be rotated in side view, Fig. a is a front view and Fig. 3
a plan of the lifting device, Fig. 4 represents the horizontally ver schwenkharen rail bracket
in side view, Fig. 5 in front view and Fig. 0 in plan.
wagerechte Lage gebracht.
The rail a worn on its inside is to be turned so that the worn inside of the rail comes to lie on the outside zli. For this purpose, a portable lifting device is placed on the inside not worn or already rotated rail b, which can be clamped on by means of the fixed claw c, the loose claw e rotatable on the bolt d and with the aid of the sliding ring f. The upward extension of the fixed claw c is used to fasten the flat iron g, which is supported on both sides of the extension and which collide on the front of the lifting device and carry the pulley lt here. The wire rope i leads from the rope pulley h onto the rope drum k. On the shaft carrying the cable drum k, a spur gear l is simultaneously attached, which is in engagement with the Ritzet na and can be set in rotation by means of one or two cranks which are attached to the shaft of the pinion. By turning the cranks, (read wire rope i is wound onto drum k. The loose end of wire rope i @z is attached to rail a to be lifted, and rail a is thereby lifted at one end, while (read other end on the If the rail a to be rotated is raised sufficiently, then the rail bracket -ia is pushed under in the middle of the rail. The rail bracket n consists of a lower piece designed as a foot bearing, in which the rotatable pin o rests. The pin o is connected to the plate by the hinge oil so that the latter can be tilted. The rail a, which was previously lifted with the lifting device, is placed on the plate p p is detected in the middle of the rail. After loosening the wire rope i from the rail a, this is then brought into the horizontal position. In this position the rail is rotated by 180 ° with the help of the pin o d reattached to rail a while allowing the opposite end of the rail to sink to the ground. The lifting device now allows the removal of the rail bracket ze after sufficient lifting of the rail. Now let the still raised end of the rail down to the ground again and loosen the rope i. In order to secure the rail in its position on the plate p to prevent it from tipping sideways, two lateral pivoting arms q are provided on the plate p, resting against the web of the rail and engaging under the head of the rail. The swivel arms q are folded down when not in use. All of the devices are so light in weight that they can be comfortably carried by one, at most two workers. The work of folding down rails worn on the inside, which hitherto had to be done by a large number of workers, can thus be done by only a few workers in the same time.
