Description
Process for the electrical purification of gases. For the electric Purification of gases has already been proposed to clean the gases before entering to mix water vapor into the gas cleaning chamber, according to the Armstrong principle Steam electricity was charged by adding the water vapor e.g. B. by wooden pipes was directed. By adding this electrically charged water vapor the gas can be freed from the dust to be deposited better and more thoroughly.
This improvement in the separation effect can now be achieved with the method according to the invention can be increased in that instead of electrically charged Water vapor Electrically charged vapors from insulating liquids are selected whose dielectric constant is greater than i. In particular, the Admixture of oil vapor electrically charged by friction has proven to be useful. As a result of the higher dielectric constant of the steam to be admixed, it becomes initially more intensely charged by the friction. In addition, there is then also the continuity of the current and thus the separation effect in the gas cleaning chamber is better.
