Abstract
Description
The invention is a cassette for Able of optical fiber excess lengths and optical fiber splice connections.
Here is a receptacle for the pluggable receptacle of Lichtwel lenleiterspleißkassetten provided in which the splice cassettes can be inserted. Doing on each splice cassette included the excess lengths and splices and filed accordingly. But here is every splice cassette only usable for a certain and uniform type, so that a combination of different configurations of light waveguide connection technology is not possible. Thereby there is a lot of effort and also special Measures are taken around different network structures to be able to combine with each other.
The object of this invention is a cassette to design, with the appropriate adjustments and Combinations of different fiber optic network structures with regard to the connection technology. The ge set task is now according to the invention with a Kas Sette of the type mentioned solved in that the Cassette from one basic module or from several basic modules exists, whereby the basic modules each have the same basic structure and connecting elements for assembling several Basismo have the basic structure of a base plate, side bounding walls with angled retainers webs and from guide elements arranged on the base plate elements and guide grooves that the front Walls and the guide elements can be removed if necessary are and that on the end faces of the base plate or end walls insertion or lead-through solutions for fiber optic cables or fiber optic ribbon are provided.
Somit sind dann folgende Konfigurationen der Lichtwellenleiterverbindungstechnik zu berücksichtigen:The previously available optical fiber splice cassettes are generally either only for single fiber technology or only designed for fiber optic ribbon technology. Are there currently mainly 12-way and 4-way optical fibers ribbon of importance. To build complex network structures or when transitioning from overlay networks to the lower network However, structures will also become complicated topologies in the future are used. So the following configurations are then the fiber optic connection technology to consider:
- 1. Lichtwellenleiterbändchen - Lichtwellenleiterbändchen1. Optical fiber ribbon - optical fiber ribbon
- 2. Lichtwellenleiterbändchen - mehrere Einzelfasern2. Optical fiber ribbon - several individual fibers
- 3. Lichtwellenleiterbändchen - mehrere niederfaserzahlige Lichtwellenleiterbändchen3. Optical fiber ribbon - several low fiber count Optical fiber ribbon
- 4. Lichtwellenleiterbändchen - (mehrere) niederfaserzahlige Lichtwellenleiterbändchen und Einzelfasern4. Optical fiber ribbon - (several) low fiber count Optical fiber ribbon and single fibers
- 5. Einzelfasern - Einzelfasern (jeweils einfach bzw. mehr fach).5. Single fibers - single fibers (each simple or more subject).
Contrary to the current state of the art, one modular cassette system according to the invention such Combinations on a single optical fiber splice box sette through appropriate combinations of the Construction possible. This is the case when several lights are connected waveguide cable necessary that the individual optical fibers or optical fiber or fiber optic ribbon possible stored in a space-saving manner with corresponding excess lengths can be because these excess lengths for splicing and eventuel after-splicing must be available in the event of a repair. In addition, all fiber optic connections can be read gene that the connections against mechanical loads are protected. On the other hand, the filing system has to go provide sufficient order and clarity, so that always removed individual fiber optic connections and can be made new without the rest in one Must destroy stored connections or the one above disrupt the flow of information that is taking place. A modular one Kas can be configured according to requirements set system according to the invention meets these requirements for all possible combinations listed above. So the new cassette system consists of a basic module, which in all directions of the room by plugging in more of the same Basic modules expanded according to a modular system can be. The basic module itself is for storage for 1 to n Single fiber optic fibers or fiber optic ribbons chen (uncut) designed. The design of the basismo duls allows tension-free removal and insertion of the Single fibers or fiber optic ribbon. The basic module contains different guide elements, e.g. B. in the form of guide bars, which are designed so that depending on can be broken out in this case. The guide webs can also be designed to be pluggable, so that these can be used in suitable positions. There are also guide grooves for fiber optic tapes incorporated. The base module is now attached to the respective Use case according to the above possibilities fully customizable. This is part of this cassette system well-known accessories for the corresponding connection tech nik in different embodiments, e.g. B. splice comb, Strain relief elements, etc. These accessories are in the base module or in the respective user tailor-made unit consisting of several Base modules, with appropriate fasteners puts. By lining up at least two basic modules len, a splice cassette is created in the previously usual sense Filing of fiber optic connections in the form of splice or plug connections. By stringing them together enough space in the middle to insert one Splice comb which depending on the application with regard to the use of single fibers, fiber optic tapes and cover Lich the number of fibers can be designed differently and correspondingly different numbers of single or multiple ver can establish bonds. Several placed on top of each other Base modules or cassettes form a block which, for. B. pivotable on one or more additional modules or one Base part can be attached. Corresponding openings in the basic modules allow a safe and simple transfer walk from or to the modules in the different levels. So there are no problem splice connections between Optical fiber ribbon and single optical fiber easy to handle and store accordingly. A cassette can thus multiple connections of fiber optic single fibers, fiber optic ribbon or any combination record in the manner described above. This from the Basic modules assembled cassettes or cassettes blocks are then finally in a suitable sleeve, a housing or similar containers used, wherein there the known measures for interception or Sealing be taken. The invention is now based on explained in more detail by four figures.
Fig. 1 zeigt skizzenhaft den Aufbau des Basismoduls. Fig. 1 shows a sketch of the structure of the base module.
Fig. 2 shows two basic modules put together in a row with a splice holder.
Fig. 3 shows two in series one behind the other plugged base modules, with the guide module limiting the bending radius are taken out in the right module.
Fig. 4 shows a unit of three basic modules, which are lined up in height and length.
In diesen stirnseitigen Wandungen 3 bzw. Fig. 1 shows a basic module 1 , which is used as a basic element in the assembly of cassettes according to the invention. The basic structure of this base module consists of a base plate 2 , which is laterally delimited with angled walls. The end walls 3 and 4 of this base module 1 can be taken out or broken off when assembling to larger units with other base modules 1 , so that continuous units result. In these end walls 3 and 4 end openings 5 are also provided through which the Lichtwel lenleiter or optical fiber ribbon can be inserted or executed. In this figure it is also indicated that under certain circumstances fixing elements 12 for the optical fiber or Lichtwellenlei terbändchen can be arranged on the base plate 2 . The lateral limiting walls have inwardly bent angles at the upper ends, which serve as retaining webs 6 for the inserted optical waveguide or optical waveguide ribbon. In the inner region of the base plates, vertically projecting web strips are further arranged as guide elements for the light waveguide or optical waveguide ribbon. Optionally, the circular-shaped guide elements 7 and 8 can be removed or broken out, so that in this way the base modules 1 can be adapted to the conditions of the optical fiber connection technology currently in use.
In the base plate 2 also guide grooves 9 are provided for the reception of optical waveguide Chen as guide elements, so that these can be performed in an orderly manner. These run parallel to the longitudinal walls 13 . In each case, outlets are provided from which the introduction of the light waveguide ribbon into the circular or semicircular guide elements is made possible.
Additional openings in the base plate in the laterally delimiting walls or in the guide grooves 9 can be arranged if additional implementation options are required. As indicated by dash-dotted lines, the guide grooves 9 run alternately on both sides of the base plate 2 , so that the optical waveguide bands can be guided from either side.
In Fig. 2 it is now shown that a Lichtwellenlei terkassette from two successive base modules 1.1 and 1.2 is formed by plugging in a row. The end walls 4 and 3 of the two Basismo modules 1.1 and 1.2 have broken out, so that there is a space for the insertion of a splice comb 10 . The two basic modules 1.1 and 1.2 are permanently connected by means of connecting elements 11 , for. B. with locking elements. In this exemplary embodiment, no guide elements 7 or 8 are broken out, so that the original placement option for optical waveguides or optical waveguide tapes is indicated. The guide grooves 9 pass from the one base module 1.1 to the second base module 1.2 .
In Fig. 3, an embodiment is shown, in which in turn two base modules 1.1 and 1.3 are plugged together in a row. In the right base module 1.3 , the circular guide elements 7 and 8 are broken out, so that here only the guide grooves 9 are available for the guidance of the light wave conductor tapes. In all these examples, the guide elements are designed as vertically standing strips and can, for. B. be plugged in or connected to the base plate 2 via predetermined breaking points so that they can be easily broken out.
FIG. 4 shows an assembled unit from three basic modules 1.1 , in which no guide elements have broken out at first. But this possibility is also given here, so that any variations are possible. This figure is intended to show that base modules 1.1 can be lined up or one above the other in any way. Appropriate openings allow a simple transition from the upper to the lower level without running the risk of fibers being damaged. Such a total module is z. B. for the transition from high-fiber Lichtwel lenleiterbändchen to low-fiber optical fiber ribbon and single fibers to use. The reserve lengths of the low-fiber fiber optic ribbon and below that of the individual fibers or vice versa are then located in the upper level.
The circular or semicircular guide elements 7 and 8 have a radius that corresponds to the minimum permissible bending radius of the optical fibers.
Such a new multifunctional cassette system from the Simple basic modules according to the invention allow one quick and easy assembly of splice trays under different types and sizes related to the above already mentioned variation possibilities regarding the Fiber optic connection technology. By breaking out of Bars, walls and guide elements, as well as through adaptation ren of corresponding accessories is an extremely universal seller commitment guaranteed. This is an optimal adjustment possible for the respective application.
