in mehreren Ausführungen bekannt. Viel Ärger und Verdruß wird nun dadurch hervorgerufen,
daß die Klingelzeichen auch bei unbefugtem Öffnen und Schließen des Deckels ertönen,

Einlegen von Postsachen u. dgl. der im Kasteninnern liegende Stromkreis zwangläufig
geschlossen bleibt. Nach Herausnahme der Post bleibt der im Kasteninnern liegende

Der Kasten a besitzt vorn eine Tür b, zwei Seitenwände
e und f und oben einen an Scharnieren hochklappbaren Deckel c. An
der Kastenrückwand a befindet sich im Kasten eine Gabel g in Scharnieren, welche
bei leerem Kasten an den Keil d, der mit der Tür b fest verbunden ist, anstößt.

jeweils an die Tür b
drückt, wobei aber der Ansatz h, der ebenfalls fest mit
der Gabel g verbunden ist, den Stromkreis durch Abheben der Feder i von (lern Kontakt
q unterbricht. Die Unterbrechung wird aufgehoben, sobald Briefe o. dgl. in den Kasten
geworfen werden, denn in diesem Augenblick wird die Gabel g in der Pfeilrichtung
(Abb.2) mehr oder weniger gegen die Kastenrückwand gedrückt, und somit ist diese
Stromkreisunterbrechung durch h. und i behoben, jedoch ertönen durch diesen Vorgang
immer noch nicht die beiden vorgenannten Klingelzeichen. Sollen nun Briefe o. dgl.
in den Kasten geworfen werden, so muß der Deckel c (wie beim üblichen Briefkasten)
geloben werden. Durch diesen Vorgang wird eine Kugel o in dem Raum p innerhalb des
Deckels c in der Pfeilrichtung (Abb. q.) zum Rollen gebracht. Beim Schließen des
Deckels c rollt nun die Kugel o zwangläufig über den Kontaktstreifen ist, drückt
denselben auf den Kontakt in" wodurch ein Klingelzeichen erfolgt, rollt dann über
den Kontaktstreifen n weiter, drückt denselben auf den Kontakt izl, wodurch ein
zweites Klingelzeichen erfolgt, und geht dann zurück zu ihrer Anfangsstellung. Ein
Versagen dieses mechanischen Vorganges ist technisch unmöglich. Damit nun der Deckel
c nur bis zu einem gewissen Grade geöffnet werden kann, ist, wie Abb. 3 zeigt, ein
nach außen unsichtbares Hebelgestänge l vorgesehen, welches mit dem Deckel c verbunden
