Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for thread break detection on a Textile machine in which a light source emits a thin main beam of light emits and a receiver is provided in which the main light beam in Movement path of a torn abortion piece of thread arranged and when the thread piece passes through the main light beam a signal device connected to the receiver responds.
In a device of this type known from practice, the main one ray of light a normal ray of light and directly hitting the receiver aligned such that when the thread piece passes through the The main normal light beam shading hits the receiver, and that receiver and signaling device to respond due to the appropriate shading are designed. This arrangement is relatively disruptive due because the amount of light that passes through the piece of thread through the Normal light beam is taken away, is relatively low. Shadows that due to vibrations of the light source or due to air streaks radiation diffraction caused are as large as that occur due to the thread piece, and lead to an incorrect address chen the signaling device.
An object of the invention is therefore to provide a device of the beginning named type to create, in which a response of the signaling device due to vibrations of the light source or air streaks in the corridor the main light beam is avoided improved. The invention Order is solving this problem, characterized in that the main light beam is a laser beam and on the opposite of the light source Side of the aborting thread piece transverse to the path of the main laser beam A light absorber is provided that the receiver on the side of the light source is arranged such that when the thread piece passes through the Main laser beam an occurring scattering reflection laser beam onto the Receiver meets and that the receiver and the signaling device to speak are designed due to the incident reflection laser beam.
The device according to the invention is trouble-free in an improved manner, because the main laser beam not hitting the receiver does not affect either fluctuations or tremors caused by vibration of the light source due to a diffraction caused by an air streak the receiver meets. However, if a piece of thread crosses the main laser beam, then reflection laser radiation occurs, which also strikes the receiver and triggers a response of the signaling device. The main laser beam hits that Receivers normally located outside the laser transmission direction not and a decoupled partial laser beam is measured.
If the piece of thread passes through the optical path of the main laser beam, see above a part of the laser light is returned to the emp catcher reflected. The receiver works with very high sensitivity, so that the scattered light of the reflection is sufficient to secure the thread piece to recognize. The straight-line laser beam light is removed from the light sorber swallowed almost completely. Dust particles in the main laser beam ver do not cause such a reflection laser beam to which the receiver responds speaks. Due to the reflection detection or -measurement dust particles are not recognized.
The invention also provides that the Re striking the receiver flexion laser beam an immediate reflection laser beam of the abortionist Thread piece is and / or is an indirect reflection laser beam, which of a reflector comes in, by diffraction at the abortion Diffraction laser light produced falls. The device works in usually with the direct reflection laser beam. The evaluation of the by diffraction at the thread piece of diffraction laser light is in the Usually provided in addition to the direct reflection laser beam. Of the The reflector for the diffraction laser light is e.g. B. from a triple mirror or a reflective tape is formed and z. B. arranged near the light absorber.
It is particularly expedient and advantageous if the main laser beam is ge is pulsing. The not continuous, but clocked or modulated head laser beam can also work in daylight, because then the light receiver only needs to respond to a change of light.
It is also particularly expedient and advantageous if the receiver is in Relation to the light source for an angle of 0-20 ° between the main la serstrahl and the reflection laser beam is arranged. The angle between the main laser beam and the reflection laser beam are as small as possible hold and is z. B. 0 °. As a rule, it is therefore the recipient if possible located close to the light source.
The thread piece ideally runs to the main laser beam when crossing at right angles and in practice is inclined slightly at an angle to the main laser beam run. This inclination must not be too great, because otherwise nothing is reflected to the receiver. Therefore it is appropriate if the The maximum distance from the light source to the reflecting piece of thread is 3 m is.
The main laser beam crosses e.g. B. a distance of 2-6 m to Light absorber. The thread is smaller in diameter than the jet. For the case The thread is 1/100 mm thick and the beam exits the light source 1 mm thick. The laser beam can e.g. B. visible light of a wave length of 635 nmtr. his. The invention is also at wavelengths 1500 nm. useful. The erfin works with laser beams with infrared light device according to the invention only bad. If a thread breaks, the Fa blown through the main laser beam. Usually he hits device according to the invention on the receiver no laser light. The signal there is z. B. in a shutdown of the textile machine or in Give alarm.
If the measuring arrangement according to the invention only on one side of the textile ma is provided, then it works over small and medium distances reliable. In the case of larger distances, there may be disruptions functions and failures. That's why it's special expedient and advantageous if with respect to a parting plane of the textile ma seem to be at a distance from each other compared to two measuring arrangements, which each have a laser beam light source, a light absorber and an emp include catchers, are provided and if the two light sources to Ab output of temporally and / or optically different main laser beams are formed.
At greater distances over which pieces of thread can be distributed, safely To be able to evaluate, a similar measuring arrangement in opposite gender position installed in spite of this opposite arrangement mutual influence of the receiver on the light absorber exclude, it is necessary to temporally and / or the two laser beams to differentiate optically (lighting technology). This distinction can be made with realize as follows:
Each laser beam is made by polarization filters inserted in the light paths polarized in a fixed plane of polarization. Likewise, is in front of each recipient a polarization filter is inserted into the light path. The arrangement of the polaris sationsfilter is such that the polarization planes of a receiver cut opposite light source at 90 °, resulting in an extreme Attenuation of the laser beam from the opposite light source for the Emp catcher leads. For the respective own recipient, however, none noteworthy attenuation of the laser beam generated.
An additional rotation of the polarization plane of the opposite one Laser beam caused by a thread introduced into the laser beam piece can also be used to detect the piece of thread. It the attenuation of the polarization filters is changed by this rotation, which creates a measurable output signal.
In another embodiment, the two send each other lying light sources with different wavelengths. For example, sends the one light source visible light and the opposite light source in red light. Optical filtering, e.g. B. with Spectral filters, provided. The second embodiment leads to the same Result like the first embodiment.
In a third embodiment, an alternate modulation takes place of the two light sources and the associated receiver such that each for a period of time only the transmitter and the receiver, which belong together are active. Such an alternating modulation is synonymous before with a time-shifted pulse duration control of the two measuring devices regulations.
It is also particularly expedient and advantageous for two to be together the parallel and spaced apart main laser beams seen and the receiver an evaluation unit for a temporal and / or local evaluation of the passage of the aborting thread piece is assigned by both main laser beams. For the two main lasers radiation, only one receiver is usually provided. Through the parallel order the detection of the thread piece is improved because a part that crosses both main laser beams locally and temporally close to each other, a company the piece and another part, e.g. B. is not a large piece of dirt. Both companies Entrances are localized by the evaluation unit and timed true and assigned to each other.
