Es ist bei Förderwagenkupplungen häufig notwendig, die schadhaft gewordenen verschlissenen Glieder auszutauschen, ein Umstand, der bei den bekannten Hufeisenkupplungen Schwierigkeiten macht, weil diese Glieder sämtlich von der endlos ausgebildeten Kupplungsöse zusammengehalten werden. Man muß deshalb die öse auftrennen und nach dem Austausch wieder verschweißen. ίο Diese langwierige, kostspielige Arbeit soll durch die Erfindung dadurch vermieden werden, daß der Tragrücken der hufeisenförmigen öse derart längsgespalten ist, daß zwei Zungen entstehen, die einander entgegengesetzt gerichtet sind und ihre starken Wurzeln wechselseitig in der Nähe des Trag-, rückenendes, also da haben, wo die Aufhängeglieder bei angespannter Kupplung angreifen, während die beiden Zungen etwa in ihrer Mitte gemeinsam den Kupplungshaken tragen.
