Einrichtung zum gerichteten Empfang mehrfach modulierter elektrischer Wellen. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 13. September 1925 ab.Device for the directional reception of multiple modulated electrical waves. Patented in the German Empire on September 13, 1925.
Juni 1925 beansprucht.According to the Union Treaty of June 2, 1911, priority is due to this application of the application in the United States of America dated June 19, 1925.
The invention relates to a device for receiving multiple modulated electrical Waves, which are particularly suitable for short waves, result in a directional reception and the freedom from interference increases. It is schematic in a figure on the drawing shown.
Das. Empfangssystem ist so beschaffen, daßThat. The receiving system is designed so that
An dem ,einen Ende dieser Leitung befindet sich ein Endempfänger i, 2, durchit. responds to the carrier wave that is proportionate is short and serves as a carrier wave for another wave of greater wavelength (intermediate frequency). Through the incoming The antennas 7, 8, 9 are excited one after the other. The carrier wave will through the detectors (audio tubes) 10, 11, 12 rectified so that the intermediate frequency wave appears in their output circles, which are transferred from each of the three receivers to a common transmission line 14 is, through phase regulators 4, 5, 6. At one end of this line there is an end recipient i, 2, through
Transformator 3 gekoppelt.
13 is an impedance arranged at the other end of the line, the value of which is such that standing waves are prevented.
Assuming that the short carrier wave is modulated by a frequency of 20,000 (corresponding to a wavelength of 15,000 m), then the shortwave receivers 7, 8, 9, which are arranged along the line 14, receive these waves one after the other, with the line approximately the same length as the modulating wave, i.e. 15,000 m. The output circuit of each receiver supplies the 20,000-period modulation of the short signals sent to the transmitter line.

Für Signale aber, die sich in umgekehrter Richtung von der Zentralstation nadh dem Ende V bewegen, kumulieren sich die Ausgänge nicht, so daß sie eine kleine Resultante haben. ao is transmitted on line 14 when the spatial wave arrives at X and then continues on the line nadh Y and nadh the end V. The energy migrating to V is counteracted by the characteristic impedance 13. The energy moving near Y arrives there just enough to be in phase with the output of the high frequency receiver at Y. Likewise, the current arrives at Z so that it is in phase with the output of the high frequency receiver at Z, and so on for all receivers on the line. The energy collected on the line 14 is then fed to the end receiver i, 2. The outputs of all individual receivers accumulate for high-frequency transmissions whose wavefront propagates from -V to the central receiver at the other end of the line. For signals, however, which move in the opposite direction from the central station to the end V, the outputs do not accumulate, so that they have a small resultant.
