Device for painting the inside of pipes. For internal taring or asphalting or etching: or for internal painting of pipes, for example of welded pipes at the weld seam, according to the invention, a device is to be used which is essentially characterized by two pipes pushed one inside the other and enclosing a cavity containing the application mass, the cushions that close off the work place when they move against each other spread or retract again and open or close again openings for the application cup. The inner tube is also used to supply a pressure medium, such as. B. compressed air to drive the mass out of its container, which can be provided with a single application brush (-, the strip of fabric.
bestimmtes Rohr zr (s. insbesondere Abb. 3).The drawing illustrates the device as an embodiment in Fig. T in longitudinal section: Fig. 2 and 3 each illustrate a detail. The device consists of two tubes a and b pushed one inside the other, of which the inner tube a is rotatable in the outer tube 1? leads, which in turn rotates in the same way by means of resiliently spreading roller bearings b1 in: the pipe c to be provided with the application cup; the pipes a and b consist of individual pipe pieces which are assembled to the required length in each case and are joined to one another by threaded sockets d, which are secured against mutual rotation in the manner of a spring and hat at e. In the pipe string a there is an all-round outlet opening f1 and a filler neck; i. and overflow or. Safety valve r: provided container f and in the pipe string b a container that fits the container f and is appropriately perforated so that it is inserted all around with a brush q or with strips of fabric. On both sides of these containers there are ring-shaped cushions j, which are spread apart by a spiral spring k (Figs. I and 2), which, under the pressure of these springs, tend to lie against the inner wall of the tube c; the inner end of the springs k is connected to the tube a, so that the springs k are released by axial rotation of this tube in one direction of rotation and press the pad j against the tube wall and, when the tube a is rotated in the opposite direction, the springs and with it the cushion will be retracted. One end of the tubes a and b, on the left in the sense of the drawing, is closed by a capsule or the like, and at the other end, 1 fits axially in the tube a and is coupled to it at e , a pipe section provided with a handle o:, m, and a pipe zr intended for connection to a compressed air line or the like, rotatable in this suitable manner (see in particular Fig. 3).
zu ver- i sehenden Stelle, also z.
bei p ausbläst und an der zu behandelnden Rohrstelle etwa befindlichen Schmutz abbläst;
b vorgeschoben, bis der Handgriff o in eine Aussparung P des Rohres b eingreift;
For use, the pipes a and b together with the connecting pipes nz, n and with the container f, g filled with the coating compound are pushed so far into the pipe to be treated that the container f, g is i seeing place, so z. B. is located opposite the weld seam cl to be tarred or asphalted; then compressed air is released onto the pipes za, a, which blows out at p and blows off any dirt at the pipe point to be treated; Then the tube b is determined by means of a pin x or the like and the tube a by means of the tube -m and its handle o. rotated, whereby first the springs k relaxed and the pads j are pressed sealingly against the pipe wall c, at the same time the pipe a is pushed axially by means of a thread guide r in the pipe b until the holes f 1 of the container f with those g1 of the container g match; Furthermore, by this axial displacement of the tube a, the openings p are closed by a ring p1 fixed to b, and the compressed air exiting from the tube a into the container f at s, which at the same time also has a pressing effect on the pad i, drives the applied dimension .e from / 'and g from and presses them into the brush or the like. Then the tube is pushed so far into the glass tube b until the handle o engages in a recess P of the tube b; Then the tube b is rotated by means of the handle o, whereby the brush q is set in rotation, which applies the mass under the action of the air pressure to the inner wall of the tube c. Once this has been done, the excess mass can be sucked back into the container f by an air pump or a jet suction device or the like to be attached to x, the tube a is screwed back again, whereby the container f closes again and the cushions j are drawn in again so that now the whole device can be removed from the tube c. Depending on the amount of mass to be applied, one or more containers connected to its interior can also be added to the container. The container f can also be seen with a heating device for heating the application compound.
