Die hier vorliegenden Neuerungen beziehen sich auf Vorrichtungen, welche dazu dienen, das Stofsleder bei Billardstöcken zwischen zwei am Stabende angebrachten Klemmbacken einzuspannen und dadurch am Stab zu befestigen.The innovations presented here relate to devices which are used to to clamp the fabric leather of billiard sticks between two clamping jaws attached to the end of the stick and thereby to be attached to the rod.

Dem bei anderen Klemmbackenvorrichtungen eintretenden Auseinanderdrängen der Klemmbacken durch das Zusammenstauchen des Stofsleders ist bei der vorliegenden Vorrichtung in wirksamster Weise durch eine doppelte Verbindung der Backen a a_{ vorgebeugt, indem dieselben einestheils mittelst einer quer durchgehenden Schraube, anderenteils durch den Kuppelkeil c zusammengehalten werden. Dabei dient der letztere zugleich einem weiteren Zweck, indem er, auf einer an der bezüglichen Stelle der Schraube b angefeilten Fläche ruhend, die Schraube b sichert. Der Keil c wird in seiner Stellung durch das Stofsleder festgehalten , indem sich dasselbe zwischen feine Zähne eindrückt (s.
