Description

Latticework made of hollow stones for regenerators, wind heaters and the like. The invention relates to a latticework made of hollow bricks for regenerators, wind heaters and the like. Heat accumulator with rows of stones intersecting in layers and vertically continuous channels. The essence of the innovation is that hollow stones are rectangular Cross-section are used, which are laid in rows of stones with such a spacing, that the correspondingly reinforced shock walls of the stones of two layers on the Crossing points form full supporting columns through the entire height of the latticework. , At the intersection points lie the. Stones' with their full ends on top of each other because the openings in the Stones are dimensioned so that each stone has the same wall thickness on the narrow sides half the width of the stone. In this way, a with from top to bottom is created latticework provided with openwork passageways, which at the crossing points has strong supporting columns that go through the entire height of the latticework, which are connected by the thin side walls of the stones.

The latticework obtained in this way achieves that the entire stone mass is washed around on all sides by the hot gases and in high Dimensions heat-absorbing.

In the drawing, the latticework is in an exemplary embodiment shown. Fig. R shows the latticework in view and section.

Fig.2 shows a plan of the latticework, while Fig. 3 shows the stone graphically represents. The latticework is made of the stones with a rectangular cross-sectional shape, which are provided with a through opening b, made by the stones in rows at a distance from each other so that they @ with the narrow sides butt against each other and the openings b run vertically. The rows of stones are with c '. The rows d of the next layer cross with the rows c of the underlying layer, as the plan (Fig.2) shows. The walls e to the Ends of the hollow stones are made half as strong as the stones are high. Through this become a full support surface for the overlying ones at the intersection points Stones and strong supporting columns that go through the entire height of the latticework f created. These support columns are one below the other through the thin side walls g of the stone connected, so that a solid, stable latticework is created. The through the openings b The passageways formed by the stone are in each layer on either side broken through, so that an all-round irradiation of the stones is made possible and the whole stone frame is washed around on all sides by the hot gases.

Die Größe des Hohlsteines ist beliebig. The size of the hollow stone is arbitrary.
