Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for regenerative gas purification the preamble claim 1. It is a device from the climate technology, e.g. B. for use in occupied rooms and for the warehouse air conditioning.
At present, air pollutant concentrations are caused by air exchange or reduced by non-regenerable filters. This has the aftermath partly that the supplied air quantities are additionally heated or cooled have to. Furthermore, disposable filters are often not economically refurbished bar, so that an increased amount of garbage can be managed. With mobile systems this affects to an increased extent or in reduced use persevere.
The object of the invention is a device for regenerative gas purification to create the lowest possible weight with high reliability speed works.
This object is achieved by the device according to claim 1. Advantage adhesive embodiments of the invention are the subject of further claims.
According to the invention, the device comprises a plurality of adsorber beds on egg nem are arranged common carrier. The carrier including the ad sorber beds is referred to below as the adsorber drum. The number the adsorber beds are freely selectable, they are at least two. The one to reini gas flow (e.g. air or oxygen atmosphere), also in the following Called adsorber stream, flows through the adsorber beds, the harmful fabrics, e.g. B. CO₂ bound to the adsorber materials of the adsorber beds become. The pollutant concentration is dependent on the inlet con concentration, temperature, adsorber materials and the mass flow reduced. The adsorber loaded with pollutants can be materials are regenerated again after adsorption. The adsorber flow mel is rotatable relative to a frame component, e.g. B. a housing which has several connections for adsorber flow line and desorption flow line are attached. It is essential that each of the lines has a fixed loading Laying has for either an absorption or a desorption electricity.
At certain rotation angles of the drum there is an adsorber bed with egg ner adsorption stream line or desorption stream line connected so that in the individual adsorber beds the adsorption or desorption operation can be carried out, depending on the type of line concerned fende adsorber bed is connected. By turning the adsorber drum changed the assignment of the individual adsorber beds to the lines, so that just by turning the adsorber into desorption or around can be reversed.
The adsorber beds are preferably in the form of cylindrical bulk beds th or cylindrical support elements doped with adsorber material.
Dies wird in einem speziellen Ausführung der Vorrichtung beispielhaft erläutert:The device is particularly suitable for discrete adsorption and des orptionsbetrieb. This is done in a special version of the device exemplified:
The device has, for example, an adsorber drum with three adsorbers cylinders on. On the frame component are two adsorber flow lines and connected to a desorption stream line. The connections as well Inlets of the adsorber beds lie on a circle, with the angular distance is 120 ° with each other.
At the time of the launch, the first adsorbent bed was the one with an adsorption line tion is completely free of pollutants. The second bed with the second adsorption line is connected, be loaded to 50%. The third The bed connected to the desorption line should be fully loaded. In the following adsorption / desorption cycle, the first bed becomes 50% loaded, the second bed is 100% loaded and the third bed fully constantly discharging.
By turning the drum by 120 °, the first bed becomes the second Adsorption line connected and in the following adsorber process 100% loaded. The second bed is now with the Desorp tion line connected so that it is at the end of the desorp now beginning tion process will be completely discharged. The third bed is now with the first adsorption line connected so that at the end of the following ad sorption process will be loaded to 50%. For the following cycle the drum rotated accordingly.
In another version with 5 adsorption cylinders and 4 adsorp tion stream lines and a desorption stream line runs the bed change in 25% steps up to the maximum load.
By selecting the number of cylinders, it can be specific for each ad sorbenz an optimal drum construction in terms of mass, volume and Select energy requirements.
The adsorption / desorption process can either be dependent on the Time or the adsorber bed outlet concentration can be ended.
Sealing washers are attached to the connections for the lines Seal the drum during the adsorption or desorption cycles. At the Rotating the drum, the sealing washers by a on the drum attached wedge lifted off.
B. CO₂ in Gasatmosphären verwendet. There are regenerative adsorber materials for binding pollutants such as B. CO₂ used in gas atmospheres. For the CO₂ bond and Dehumidification is particularly suitable for a solid amine.
The adsorbents in the adsorber beds can be in the form of bulk material lie. But they can also be fixed on a stable support.
The desorption can be carried out using hot air, water vapor and Er generation of vacuum. The combination of these procedures is also possible. Desorption can take place in countercurrent or cocurrent. The Des The absorption method is dependent on the adsorbent and the respective type application selected.
At the desired concentration, for example for a subsequent white terprocessing of the adsorbate is the discontinuous operation of the device tion particularly advantageous. With desorption with hot air and selection of an ent speaking adsorber can with the device an additional Luftent moisture can be achieved.
Through the measure according to the invention, separate lines for the adsorb tion and desorption flows, comes the invention Device in contrast to conventional multi-bed processes without valves out. In the known devices with z. B. three adsorber beds are min at least 12 valves, with space redundancy concepts this can be up to 36 Valves are needed. This reduces the structural complexity and the device is more manoeuvrable. In addition, the manufacturing costs less.
The device according to the invention can be lightweight and compact be carried out and is therefore suitable for both stationary and mobile use. By saving weight when used in Vehicles achieved direct energy savings. The device is e.g. B. suitable for use in space vehicles, airplanes, cars, subways, fully air-conditioned rooms and shelters. There are also conditioned warehouses rooms can be air-conditioned with the device, e.g. B. fruit storage, food container ner, ship cargo holds, animal transporters.
The invention is explained in more detail with reference to figures.
Es zeigen:Show it:
Fig. 1 und 2 jeweils einen Schnitt durch eine erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung; Figures 1 and 2 each show a section through an inventive device.
Fig. 3 shows a detail of Fig. 2 on an enlarged scale.
Fig. 1 shows a section through an embodiment of the device according to the invention. From a device carrier 5 , the adsorber drum 1 with example, three adsorber beds 2 is added (of the three existing adsorber beds only two are shown in this sectional drawing). The adsor beds, which consist of an adsorber material, are tubular here. Each adsorber bed 2 is surrounded by a gas guide tube 3 . The adsorber drum 1 is rotatably mounted on a shaft 20 . The shaft 20 runs parallel to the main axis of the adsorber tubes 2 . The drum 1 can be rotated by a drive motor 21 with a control unit. It can also be turned by hand for emergency operation. On the core housing 5 there are connection flanges 13 a, 13 b for the adsorption stream and desorption power lines. The upper, on different sides of the upper adsorption cylinder 2 opposite connections 13 a serve as inlet and outlet openings for the adsorption stream, the lower connections 13 b serve as inlet and outlet openings for the desorption stream.
In the situation shown here, the adsorber drum 1 is just turned so that the inlets for the adsorber beds 2 come to lie opposite the connections for the adsorber flow lines 13 a and desorption flow lines 13 b. Accordingly, the adsorption takes place in the upper adsorber tube. The contaminated air from the space to be conditioned flows through the left opening 13 a in the annular gap between the gas conducting tube 3 and Ad sorberröhre 2 and passes through the wall of the Adsorberröhre 2 into the nere In the tube. 2 The pollutants are bound to the adsorber material of the adsorber tube 2 . The cleaned air then leaves the device through the right opening 13 a. The flow pattern is indicated by arrows.
The regeneration of the adsorber material takes place in the lower adsorber tube. The desorption stream, here hot air, flows through the right opening 13 b into the interior of the adsorber tube, penetrates the tube wall and flows in the space between the gas guide tube 3 and the outer wall of the adsorber tube 2 . The air flow together with the released pollutants leaves the device via the left opening 13 b. The output current can be directed to a corresponding processing plant or to the environment. At the same time as the hot gas is introduced, the pressure at the adsorber bed can be reduced. The pressure and temperature differences release the pollutants again.
The gas guide tubes 3 are provided with thermal insulation 7 in order to keep the heat losses during desorption small. In the described method, the desorption stream and the adsorption stream run in the opposite direction (countercurrent process). But it is also possible that both currents flow in the same direction (direct current method).
To end the adsorption or desorption cycle, the drum is rotated ge, in the present case with three adsorber beds by exactly 120 °. The rotation changes the assignment of the individual beds to the currents. Sealing discs 6 , which are present between the housing 5 and the adsorber drum 1 , are lifted by a control wedge 8 ( FIG. 3) which is located on the drum side disc.
The electric motor 21 used to continue rotating the drum can be controlled in a time-dependent manner or activated in a manner dependent on the adsorber bed outlet concentration. The entire process can be regulated or controlled.
If necessary, sensors 15 for measuring the outlet concentration are fitted in the connecting flanges. These can be omitted in the time control.
Fig. 2 zeigt einen Schnitt entlang AA in Fig. 1. FIG. 2 shows a section along AA in FIG. 1. This corresponds to a section through the adsorber drum 1 with the three absorber beds 2 arranged therein. A cylindrical wall 10 , which surrounds the adsorber beds 2, is advantageously present on the drum 1 . The wall 10 protects the adsorber beds against external mechanical influences and contributes to the mechanical stability of the drum. The absorber beds 2 are each surrounded by a gas pipe 3 and a thermal insulation layer 7 . The adsor material is available as bulk in this version. The inner and outer walls of the adsorber tube shown are therefore formed by a fine sieve and a perforated plate arranged thereon (not shown here). This allows the material to flow through, but prevents the material from escaping.
There may be different fillings or adsor bound in some other way over materials are used.
The adsorber beds 2 have an annular cross section. Their centers lie on a circle. The angle between two beams, starting from the central axis of the absorber drum through the centers of neighboring absorber beds, is 120 °. This structure finds its correspondence in the arrangement of the connections for the adsorption stream and De sorptionsstromleitung on the equipment rack 5 (not shown here).
FIG. 3 shows the detail Z from FIG. 1 on an enlarged scale, with which the sealing disk control when the adsorber drum is rotated is explained in more detail. To rotate the cylinders 2 , the sealing disks 6 are lifted off by a control wedge 8 on the drum side disk 11 and the drum 1 is rotated accordingly (in the case of 3 cylinders by 120 °). Then a link 9 releases the control wedge again and the spring 7 presses the outlet or inlet sealing disks back onto the drum.
