Lederpresse.
Leather press. The invention relates to a leather press for treating
or pressing of leather or similar soft materials and consists in particular of
that while avoiding guided in the area of the working area of the plunger
Rods or the like, the lower pressure body is made mechanically liftable in such a way that
claß the actual pressing pressure for the pressing movement of the lower pressure body through
Water pressure takes place while the upper pressure body is a fixed part of the press frame
is trained. The advantage of such a device over presses like them
for compressing powdery materials, but not known on leather presses
have become and where the movable plunger above the job
is arranged, is once that in the arrangement of the movable plunger
all guides and the like can be avoided at the work site from bottom to top,
that could hinder work at the workplace. Furthermore, this enables
Arrangement that the piston does not hang in the cylinder during the rest period and suck up
the water in the top of the cylinder acts, causing an accumulation of a cushion of air
is unavoidable above the piston. This also means that the
Piston on the work piece inevitable, while the movement in the case of the invention
can be done completely.
In leather presses there is an arrangement of a piston that is initially mechanical
and is only hydraulically driven at the last moment, not known so far
become. A press has become known in which the upper press body is on
is made movable by a toggle lever. This is an extremely strong training
of the lever required, that of likewise particularly powerful devices
must be moved. At the bearing points of the lever as well as at the other
Connection points of the movement devices creates a high pin pressure, the strong one
Wear has the consequence, so that not only the investment costs, but also the costs
to maintain the plant are quite significant. In the present invention
.is provided that the piston playing in a vertical cylinder after the
mechanical movement by closing a valve when reaching a certain level
Height of the movable pressure hull is placed under hydraulic pressure. the
Pressure water line is expediently formed by the circulation pipe of a pump, in
in which there is a collection container. When the piston moves upwards, it sings
under the action of the inevitably driven rod itself from its water
the collecting tank or the circulation pipe until the valve closes and now
the pump pressurizes the sucked-in water.
In the drawing, a leather press is shown in side view, the
is built according to the invention.
mittels Stangen k finit zwei Kurbelscheiben in in Verbindung.
in'
The upper pressure body a is fixedly attached to the press frame h. The lower pressure body c sits on a piston d that plays in your cylinder e. On both sides of the pressure body c, pressure rods f engage, which are guided on the cylinder e and on the press frame b and can be moved up and down by levers g and i, which swing around a shaft h. The levers g are finitely connected to two crank disks at the other end by means of rods k. One of the levers i. acts simultaneously on the spring-loaded spindle n of the valve o, which is switched on in the circulation pipe p of a pump q . The circulation pipe is connected to a cylinder e on its pressure part through a connecting piece r. The pressure pipe is immersed in a collecting container s, from which the suction part of the circulation pipe also branches off. The pump is driven by a continuously rotating shaft t. The latter also carries a gear v which can be switched off by the clutch zi and which meshes with a second gear v1 seated on the shaft of the crank disk m. The clutch zt is disengaged and engaged by a rod w which connects the clutch arm w1 to an arm w2 mounted on the press frame b. The arm v., = Is connected to a pawl y which can be moved by a hand lever x and which is able to engage in gaps in one of the crank discs. By means of a spring N which acts on the arm y1 of the pawl y, the pawl is pressed against the edge of the crank disk in after the hand lever x is released. She lays in a gap as soon as it presents itself to her. The device is made such that this locking device formed by the pawl y and the gaps in the crank nz comes into effect when the lower pressure body c is in its lowest or in its highest position. The connection of this locking device y, in ' with the coupling zt by the rod w is such that the coupling is released in these end positions.
Druckkörper a preßt.
setzen.By moving the hand lever x down, the pawl y is pulled out of engagement with the gap ntl of the crank disk m, against the tension of the spring z. At the same time, through the intermediary of the linkage w2, w, wl, the clutch at is engaged, so that the crank disk m is set in rotation with the aid of the gear v, v 'and by means of the bolt h. swinging rods k, i., ä, f the lower pressure hull is lifted. The piston d sucks in water through the circulation pipe p from the collecting tank f, so that when the cylinder e is filled until the piston almost reaches its highest position, the pump q itself, although it runs constantly, does not generate pressurized water. As a result of the described movement of the linkage kf, the valve spindle n. Is left to its own devices and is able to lower itself through the intermediary of its spring. The valve o is set up in such a way that it is closed, so that the pump q now drives pressurized water into the cylinder e, and the piston c presses the inserted leather against the upper pressure body a at high pressure. The hand lever x is released again immediately after starting the linkage, so that under the action of the spring z, the pawl y grinds on the edge of the disc m and snaps into the second gap ml as soon as it presents itself to him. The consequence of this is that the crank disk is kept locked in this position and the clutch @r is released at the same time. In this position, only the hydraulic pressure acts on the leather located between the pressure bodies, which is maintained until the hand lever x is lowered again, whereupon the reverse movement begins. In the connection of the linkage f with the pressure body c there is a certain amount of play, so that when the linkage kf is initially moved backwards, the pressure body c with the piston d does not yet follow. The valve o is therefore first opened in order to allow the pressurized water to escape so far that there is no longer any water pressure under the piston d, and only then will the rod f pull down the piston c. After this pressure relief has occurred, the clearance between rod f and pressure body c is taken up, so that this now inevitably moves downwards and the water is driven out of the cylinder again through the now open valve o. In this case, too, the hand lever x is released again immediately after the start of the movement, so that when the lowest position of the pressure body c is reached, the pawl y again engages in a gap in 'with the aid of the spring - as soon as it presents itself, and at the same time the clutch u is disengaged again to bring the press linkage to a standstill.
