Sicherheitssystem zur Benutzung mit elektrisch codierten Schlüsseln, mit mindestens einem gesteuerten Schaltwerk, das einen Schlüssel-Leser aufweist, wobei das Schaltwerk durch Vorlage eines akzeptierbar codierten Schlüssels an den Leser des Schaltwerkes aktiviert werden kann, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das System außerdem eine Steuereinrichtung zum Steuern des (oder jedes) gesteuerten Schaltwerkes aufweist und die Steuereinrichtung einen Haupt-Schlüssel-Leser hat zum Lesen von Codierungen der ihm vorgelegten Schlüssel, und daß das System eine Speichereinrichtung aufweist zum Speichern der Codes mit Bezug auf ihre Akzeptierbarkeit zur Aktivierung des (oder jedes) Schaltwerkes wie erwähnt.1.
