Verfahren zur Darstellung von geschichtlichen Vorgängen. Es ist eine bekannte Erscheinung, daß ge= schichtliche Vorgänge aller Art, z. B. Krieg, Erdbeben, Völkerwanderung usw., und deren Ergebnisse, wie z. B. geologische Strukturen, wirtschaftliche Zustände usw., auf Grund des vorhandenen Lehrstoffes sich nur schwer einprägen lassen, weil große geographische Kenntnisse vorausgesetzt werden müssen.Process for the representation of historical processes. Wenn z. B. als Geschichtsstoff der Feldzug 1866 in Böhmen im Begegnen und Zusammentreffen der streitenden Armeen auf der Landkarte vorgeführt werden soll, würde der Vorgang, sofern derselbe auf der bisher üblichen einfachen Karte dargestellt ist, nicht oder nur unvollkommen verständlich zu machen sein. Durch Auftragen der Vorgänge auf eine transparente Karte, welche im Maßstabe mit der physikalischen Karte übereinstimmt, läßt sich jedoch beim Auflegen der transparenten Karte auf die physikalische Karte die Entwicklung genau verfolgen und prägt sich, zumal sie in den meisten Fällen auch sofort den Grund der Geschehnisse erkennen läßt, unvergeßlich ein.
