In einem Gehäuse A ist auf einer Welle a eine Trommel B gelagert, welche an ihrem Umfange eine Anzahl Abtheilungen ^ \\ für je eine Cigarre enthält.In a case A is mounted on a shaft a is a drum B which a number of divisions ^ \\ each contains at its circumference for a cigar.

Die letzteren gelangen durch die Oeffnung ρ auf die Rollen q und r und von hier in die Austrittsöffnung s, von wo sie durch den Raucher entnommen werden können. Es ist nun mit der Trommel B ein Mechanismus verbunden, bei welchem es erst nach Einwerfen einer dem Preise der Cigarre entsprechenden Münze möglich ist, die Trommel B zu drehen und eine Cigarre austreten zu lassen. Zu diesem Zwecke ist auf Welle a ein Triebstock b mit so viel Stiften angebracht, als Abtheilungen für Cigarren in der Trommel B enthalten sind. Hinter dem Trieb b befindet sich ein Schieber c, welcher durch Feder d in seiner höchsten Stellung (s. Fig. 1) gehalten wird. Mit seinem oberen Theile tritt der Schieber aus dem Gehäuse A heraus und ist mit einem Druckknopf e versehen, mittelst dessen der Schieber nach unten bewegt werden kann. Auf dem letzteren ist eine Klinke / angebracht, welche sich um Stift g dreht und bei ihrer Bewegung mit dem Schieber c in der weiter unten angegebenen Weise von der Feder h beeinflufst wird. Die Münze bewegt sich zwischen Hebel i und Klinke / nach unten und gelangt bei der tiefsten Stellung des Schiebers c in den Schlitz m des Gehäuses A und von hier in das Innere der Trommel B, welche so als Sammelbehälter für die Münzen dient. Nach Loslassen des Knopfes e bewegt sich der Schieber unter Einflufs der Feder d nach oben, desgleichen der Hebel i, welcher durch den Stift i¹ des Schiebers mitgenommen wird. Wird der Schieber c bewegt, ohne dafs eine Münze eingeführt ist, so bleibt die Klinke/ ausgerückt, d. h. sie dreht den Triebstock b bezw. die Trommel B nicht. Die Ausrückung der Klinke erfolgt durch Feder h, welche in eine Vertiefung des Ansatzes/¹ der Klinke/ greift. Beim Bewegen des Schiebers c ohne Münze wird die Klinke durch die erwähnte Feder h um Stift g gedreht und kann somit die untere Klaue der Klinke / keinen Stift des Triebstockes b erfassen.
