Verfahren zur direkten Erzeugung von Stahl und schmiedbarem Eisen aus Erz. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Erzeugung von Stahl und schmiedbarem Eisen aus Erzen, unter Verwendung eines mit dem Schmelzraum verbundenen, von Reduktionsgasen durchströmten Schachtes, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß der Reduktionsschacht mit aus den Erzen und Zuschlägen hergestellten heißen Agglomeraten beschickt wird.Process for the direct production of steel and malleable iron from ore.
