Abstract

To secure shower curtains to the bath or shower pan, pref. permanent magnets are fitted to the curtain seam to be held against the metal of the bath or pan. The magnets are small, to allow the curtains to be opened and closed without effort. The system is for holding the ends of shower curtains against the bath or shower pan to prevent billowing when the shower is in use. ADVANTAGE - The magnets allow shower curtains to be used, without the expense of shower screens, without affecting the user or allowing water to escape.

Es ist bekannt, daß der Duschvorhang (später DV) beim Duschen benutzt wird und vor Spritzwasser schützen soll. Entweder wird er lose innerhalb oder außerhalb der Duschtasse bzw. Badewanne (später nur Duschtasse) gehängt (5). Wird der Vorhang innen in die Duschtasse gehängt, so wird bei laufendem warmen Wasser der Vorhang nach innen aufgebläht und es kommt sogar zum "Kleben am Körper". Die Bewegungsfreiheit der duschenden Person wird erheblich eingeschränkt. Das teilweise handelsübliche Bleiband (10) bietet hier keinerlei Abhilfe.
