Abstract

The device is claimed for handling of liq. and solid samples, partic. in analysis automatic appts. For each new sample a fresh piece (e.g. hose, fibre or wire) from a storage roll (1) is used. Where a hose is used for liq. samples, the cut-off hose piece is accommodated in a connection which forms a gastight connection to a controlled feed syringe. The end of the hose storage roll can also be connected in a gastight fashion with the controlled feed syringe. ADVANTAGE - The system allows a simpler and cheaper handling of samples for analysis.

Description

It is known to handle liquid and solid Samples for analysis with suitable handling aids to make. This will cause the sample to be contaminated cleans and either have to be thrown away or trashed be taken into account if procrastination is not tolerated can be. Especially when these operations are auto are both time-consuming rinsing and Drying processes as well as the space-consuming ready provision of a large number of single-use sample carriers very cumbersome.

The invention specified in claim 1 lies based on the problem, the samples in automa table systems easier and cheaper handle.

This problem is solved in that for each new sample a new piece of a sample holder mers (e.g. hose, thread or wire) is used is provided by a supply roll and either before or after sample handling will cut.

Die mit der Erfindung erzielten Vorteile sind:The advantages achieved with the invention are:

  • a. kostengünstige Bereitstellung des Probenaufnehmersa. cost-effective provision of the sampler
  • b. einfache, gut automatisierbare Handhabungb. simple, easy to automate handling
  • c. geringer Platzbedarf insbesondere im Arbeitsbereich des Automatenc. low space requirement, especially in the work area of the machine

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are shown in claims 2 u. 3 specified. This is done for liquid samples the sample intake and samples with an air-filled syringe, the either on the already cut piece of hose (Claim 2) or at the end of the hose supply (Claim 3) is connected.

An embodiment of the invention for the hand has liquid samples according to claim 2 shown in the drawing and is shown below described in more detail.

Aufbau:Construction:

The drawing shows a section of an automatic analyzer's for liquid samples, in which a sample is distributed over different vessels for different tests. Under the work surface of the automatic analyzer, the hose supply roll 1 and the backstop 2 are attached. The cutting device 3 is attached at the level of the working surface. The hose runs from the supply roll through the backstop into the cutting device. Above the work surface are the metering syringe 5 , which is provided with a tip 4 for gas-tight holding of the cut-off piece of tubing and can be moved in several coordinates. On the work surface there are sample vessels 6 , examination vessels 7 and the scraper 8 . Below the scraper on a receptacle 9 for receiving the used hose pieces is attached.

Funktionfunction

The tip 4 is inserted into the end of the hose. The backstop 2 prevents the hose from slipping back. By a suitable shape of the tip 4 this is gastight and sufficiently firmly connected to the hose. The tube is pulled out a little and cut off. The end of the hose is now inserted into the sample vessel 6 and the required amount of the liquid sample is sucked in with the metering syringe 5 . The length of the tube piece is chosen so that only the tube is wetted by the sample. Then the tip 4 is moved over the examination vessels 7 and the intended quantity is ejected there. The piece of hose is then stripped from the tip on the scraper 8 and falls into the waste container 9 .
