Der bei üblichen Tennis­ schlägern vorhandene stielförmige Griff ist somit bügel­ förmig ausgebildet, was für die Verbesserung der Spieltechnik und die Handhabung des Tennisschlägers von Vorteil ist. Während des Spiels kann der erfindungsgemäße Schläger nicht mehr aus der Hand des Spielenden entgleiten, selbst wenn der Zugriff der Hand des Spielenden locker und nicht allzu fest ist. Krampfhaftes Halten des Tennisschlägers entfällt. Es ist kaum noch Fingerkraft aufzubringen, um den Tennisschläger zu halten, was bei üblichen Tennisschlägern bisher not­ wendig war, um z. B. bei weit ausholdenden Schlägen durch einen festen Griff die auftretenden Fliehkräfte abzufangen. Der erfindungsgemäße Tennisschläger hängt locker und praktisch pendelnd an den Fingern der Greifhand. Dadurch kann mit einen sogenannten "Pendelschlag" gespielt werden, wodurch der Ball auch mit höheren Geschwindigkeiten gespielt werden kann.
