Der Bewässerungseinsatz soll zum Feuchthalten der Erde in Blumentöpfen dienen, indem er das Eingießen und Nachgießen von Wasser auf bequeme Art zuläßt. Von bekannten derartigen Einsätzen, unterscheidet sich der Einsatz dadurch, daß er die Gestalt eines ovalen Kegels hat, welcher sich der Topfwandurig anpaßt und dessen von der letzteren abgewandte Wandung mit Durchbrechungen versehen ist. Infolge seiner Form nimmt der Einsatz den geringsten Raum ein, behindert die Pflanze in ihrer Entfaltung nicht, ist völlig unauffällig, weil er bündig mit der Erdoberfläche in den Topf eingesetzt werden kann, nimmt keine Luft und kein Licht weg, läßt sich als Massenartikel aus gebranntem Ton ο. dgl. leicht herstellen, kann jederzeit, z. B. beim Umsetzen der Pflanzen, bequem aus dem Topf genommen werden und hält das Wasser besser, weil er in dem ao am Topfumfang anliegenden Teil völlig geschlossen ist.
