that the chamber ( 21 ) of the end pieces ( 20 ) with correspondingly beveled shoulders ( 22 ) of their side walls with inserted end piece ( 20 ) connect flush to the beveled side legs ( 11 ) of the carrier ( 10 ).

5. Base according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in
that threaded sleeves ( 14 ) are attached to the inside of the middle leg in the end regions of the carrier ( 10 ),
that the middle leg of the plug-in projection ( 23 ) of the end piece ( 20 ) has a recess ( 24 ) with an insertion slot ( 17 ) for receiving the threaded sleeve ( 14 ),
that the middle leg of the end piece ( 20 ) can be fixed on the middle leg of the carrier ( 10 ) by means of a holding plate ( 18 ) and a fastening screw ( 19 ) which can be screwed into the threaded sleeve ( 14 ) and
that the holding plate ( 18 ) by means of on the inside of the middle leg of the plug-in attachment ( 23 ) attached, protruding holding lugs ( 25 ) secures the end piece ( 20 ) against being pulled out of the carrier ( 10 ).

6. Base according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in
that the connecting plug ( 23 ) chamber ( 21 ) of the end piece ( 20 ) at an obtuse angle to the side legs ( 11 ) of the carrier ( 10 ) has standing side walls and a beveled opening at the same angle and
that snap-in receptacles ( 30 , 31 ) are formed in the chamber ( 21 ), into which snap-in elements ( 41 , 42 ) formed on the cover plate ( 40 ) snap into place.

7. Base according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the middle leg of the carrier ( 10 ) and the middle leg of the plug-in lugs ( 23 ) of the end pieces ( 20 ) inserted into the carrier ( 10 ) have aligned fastening receptacles ( 43 , 44 ) .
