Plastische Komponenten im Material wie z. B. Kautschuk sind nur bei extrem tiefen Minustempe raturen hinreichend schneidbar. 2. Zur Konstruktion der Mikrothermopresse
Die üblichen Konstruktionsprinzipien bei Pressen mit 2 gegenläufi gen Backen sind in verschiedenen Versionen bekannt.
Die Konstruktion der Mikrothermopresse ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Basisbacke als Fundament fixiert ist. Die Druckkraft des gegenläufig wirkenden Stempels wird mittels einer Stahlkugel auf die bewegliche Backe übertragen. Dadurch nivelliert sich diese wäh rend des Preßvorganges über dem Schmelzgut planparallel ein und er laubt die Pressung einer gleichmäßig ultradünnen Schicht bei Einsatz von geringem technischem Aufwand.
Diese Präparationstechnik ist besonders geeignet für Phasenkontrast- und Polarisationsverfahren. Geprüft wurden diese nach obigem Ver fahren hergestellten Präparate mit dem Phasenkontrastverfahren nach Heine und der Polarisationseinrichtung der Firma Leitz.2.
