Description
- Elektrische Glimmlichtlampe. Die Erfindung betrifft eine mit einem Gemisch von Neon und Helium gefüllte Glimmlichtlamp e.
- Nach der Erfindung läßt sich die Lichtausbeute einer solchen Glimmlichtlampe wesentlich steigern, wenn man zur Füllung der Lampe Gemische von Nieon und Helium verwendet, welche reich an Helium sind. Bisher ist man hei Verwendung solcher Gemische über 3o Prozent Helium nicht hinausgegangen. Es hat sich jedoch gezeigt, daß gerade bei größeren Heliumzusätzen eine wesentliche ökonomiesteigerung :eintritt, die Lichtausbeute also bei einem bestimmten Prozentsatze. von Helium ein Maximum besitzt, welches außer von der Konstruktion der Lampe im wesentlichen von .dem ,gesamten Gasdrucke derselben abhängig ist. Bei einem Gasdrucke von etwa iomm Quecksilbersäule liegt das ökonomiemaximum bei einer Mischung von 25 Prozent Nso;n und 75 Prozent Helium. Es gelingt so, ungefähr die doppelte Lichtausbeute zu erhalten, wie bei reinem Neon.
Claims (2)
- PATENTANSPRÜCHE: i. Elektrische Glimmlichtlampe mit einer aus einem Gemisch von Neon und Helium bestehenden Füllung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bei dem üblichen Füllungsdruck von 8 bis 2o mm Quecksilbersäule der Gehalt an Helium mehr als 3o Prozent, aber weniger als 85 Prozent der gesamten Füllungsmenge beträgt.
- 2. Glimmlichtlampe nach Anspruch i, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie bei einem Gesamtdruck vorn etwa i o mm Quecksilbersäule mit einer Mischung von 25 Prozent Neon und 7 5 Prozent Helium gefüllt ist.
