Abstract
Description
When cleaning dishes in household dishwashers (HGSM) are food particles and thus u. a. also mustard, peas, egg and others Sulfur-containing compounds such as mercapto amino acids in the rinsing liquor brought in. These impurities are the cause of the tarnishing of silver cutlery, indicating the formation of colored silver complexes goes back. When using active chlorine-containing cleaner could this secondary reaction by oxidation of sulfidic functions to Sul fonen or sulfates are avoided. The problem, however, became acute when alternatively to the active chlorine compounds active oxygen compounds such For example, sodium perborate or sodium percarbonate were used.
From "Soap & Chemical Spec.", 46, No. 4 (1970), page 33, are machine applicable dishwashing detergents containing pentasodium triphosphate, Sodium metasilicate, alkali carbonate and alkali perborate known. In the German Auslegeschrift 12 79 877, a method for mechanical Ge described in which dishwashing detergents are used in which Per compounds and activators for these in the form of separate from each other granules are present. As Perverbindungen come also organic Per acids or their salts into consideration. Such funds should be hard eliminate stubborn starch films. A complementary addition of corrosion protection is recommended.
In German Auslegeschrift 13 02 394 are mechanically applicable Dishwashing detergent, the alkali metal salts and a bleach can contain activator. They also contain enzymes and may therefore instead of the usually strongly alkaline pH le have a pH of 7-9 diglich. In the American patent 35 49 539 are strongly alkaline, machine-usable dishes described cleaning agent, the u as oxidizing agent. a. Perborate with may contain an organic bleach activator. As a start-up error additives and the like. a. recommended by benzotriazole. application examples are missing. From the German patent application 16 95 219 is be is known that acylated organic substances as activators for Perver compounds wherever you use peroxy compounds, u. a. in the passivation of aluminum or other Leichtmetallober areas. In this case, pH values of preferably 7-11.5 are called. The eu European Patent 1 45 090 protects alkaline, also for machine dishwashing detergent compositions, the peroxy compounds and as an activator for these one in aqueous solution Containing manganese (II) ion as well as sodium metasilicate and whose aqueous solutions have a pH of 9.5-13. You can NEN further surface-active compounds and additionally known or contain ganic peroxide activators, but not by examples be is laid. The bleaching effect of the peroxy compounds on tea stains becomes there reinforced by the addition of manganese (II) salt activators.
The prior art does not suggest that peroxy compounds, the activated by addition of known organic bleach activators, the Tarnishing silverware during dishwashing prevent it. Instead, it has always been the addition of corrosion recommended inhibitors, which are predominantly heterocycles han but occasionally on toxicological and physiological conditions ken. Also additions of unsaturated fatty acids show an insufficient Effect.
Jahrestagung vom 5. bis 6.10.1989, Seite 29).It has now surprisingly been found that when using strong alkali agents containing peracids or organic compounds Bleach activators added peroxy compounds and optionally be Low foaming nonionic surfactants knew the tarnishing of Sil Berbestekken can be prevented in the HGSM. This is all the more surprising more severe than normally formed in situ Per acids are relatively stable at high pH values of 11, ie are less effective (See G. Reinhardt and W. Schuler in "Official Congress of the SEPAWA e.V. ", 36th Annual Meeting from 5. to 6.10.1989, page 29).
Differentiation of the effect of a bleaching system can be explained by the vi Soelle assessment of the appropriate formulation in a house Dishwasher rinsed silver cutlery done. The accordingly This procedure is described in the following examples.
The composition of the agents used in the invention corresponds in essential of the known alkaline, machine applicable dishes based on peracids or per compounds such as Natri perperborate or sodium percarbonate. Preference is given to sodium perborate mono hydrate (see "Surfactants" 27 (1990), pages 52 to 56). So be as scaffolding Substances include polymeric alkali phosphates, alkali silicates and alkali carbonates used as well as to improve the wetting effect, if necessary still small additions of weakly foaming nonionic surfactants. It It is also known to phosphates by various organic complexing agents to it set, which also serve as builders and to which, for example ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid and the like.
As the polymeric alkali metal phosphates usually come in rinsing and cleaning mixtures of condensed phosphates used, the in the form of their alkaline neutral or acidic sodium or potassium salts may be present. Examples include: tetrasodium pyrophosphate, Dina triumhydrogenpyrophosphate, pentasodium triphosphate, sodium hexametaphosphate phat and the corresponding potassium salts or mixtures of sodium and Potassium salts. Their amounts are suitably in the range of 0 to about 50 Wt .-%, preferably 0 to about 35 wt .-%, based on the total agent.
Die Menge der Alkalisilikate im gesamten Mittel liegen zweckmäßig bei etwa 20 bis 80, vorzugsweise etwa 30 bis 75 Gew.-%.As alkali silicates are preferably anhydrous sodium or potassium used in which the ratio of alkali oxide to silica about 1: 0.5 to 3.5, preferably 1: 1, is. As far as in the mixtures Alkalicarbonates are used, come here primarily Na trium potassium carbonates into consideration. However, not more than 30 Ge percent by weight of the alkali metal silicates are replaced by alkali metal carbonates, since the resulting more alkaline reaction to a reinforced Corrosion effect of the cleaner can result. The amount of alkali silicates in the entire average are expediently about 20 to 80, preferably about From 30 to 75% by weight.
As alkali metal carbonates can preferably anhydrous, but also crystal hydrous compounds are used. Preferred are sodium car carbonate and sodium bicarbonate, whose amounts are 3 to 30, preferably 6 to 15 wt .-%, based on the total agent.
B. Sokalan® CP 5 und PA 30 von BASF, Alcosperse® 175 oder 177 von Alco, LMW® 45 von NorsoHAAS.Also preferred are organic polymers, especially polycarboxylates used, which act as a co-builder. Suitable polyacrylic acids and copolymers of maleic anhydride and acrylic acid and the sodium salts of these polymer acids. Commercially available products are z. B. Sokalan® CP 5 and PA 30 from BASF, Alcosperse® 175 or 177 from Alco, LMW® 45 from NorsoHAAS.
In the usable surfactants whose foaming behavior is crucial. Because of the machine mechanics, low-foam connections are preferred. These are mainly nonionic surfactants. Suitable nonionic surfactants are all compounds known for this application, in particular adducts of 4 to 10 moles of ethylene oxide or 2 to 6 moles of ethylene oxide and 2 to 6 moles of propylene oxide on C 10 to C 20 , preferably C 12 to C 18, fatty alcohols, which may each be end-capped with C 1 - to C 4 -n-alkyl radicals, and alkylglucosides having 8 to 18, preferably 8 to 14 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical and 1 to 4, preferably 1 to 1.4, glucoside radicals in the molecule.
Die Gesamtmenge an Tensiden im Reinigungsmittel beträgt zweckmäßig 0 bis etwa 5, vorzugsweise 0,5 bis etwa 2 Gew.-%.The total amount of surfactants in the detergent is suitably 0 to about 5, preferably 0.5 to about 2 wt .-%.
If the cleaning agents foam too much during use, they can still about 0.1 to 6, preferably about 0.5 to 4 wt .-% of a foam-blowing compound, preferably from the group of paraffins, hydrophobicized silica and bisstearic acid amides.
As peroxy compounds, especially the known alkali metal perborates and Percarbonate serve according to the invention by activators such as Example tetraacethylethylenediamine, tetraacetylglycoluril, pentaacetylglucose or diacetyldioxohexahydrotriazine, but also peracids or their salts, such as alkali metal persulfates or magnesium monoperphthalate, wherein can be dispensed with further Aktivatorzusatz. The quantities of per oxy compounds may be about 3 to 10, preferably about 5 to 9 wt .-%, relative to the total mean. The amount of organic bleach Activators is suitably about 0.5 to 5, preferably about 1 to 3 Wt .-%, based on the total agent. Manganese (II) salts do not come here into consideration. They decompose the per compound and consume it with it. Braunstein falls out.
Apart from the constituents mentioned, the mixtures to be used may be white tere components, in particular inorganic salts, such as sodium sulfate, as Containing cosolvents. Other possible additions are buffering us kende substances, dyes, perfumes, and optionally enzyminakti Fourth additions, such as ammonium chloride or the like.
As far as the invention to be used means preferably pulverför are mig, they are made by grinding in a known manner and mixing the ingredients. To an intimate connection of Pulverbe it may be appropriate to use the powder during the Mixing process or subsequently with an aqueous solution kri stalling salts, z. As sodium sulfate, or one of the above spray nonionic surfactants. Through this treatment will be the same early reduced the tendency of the powder to dusts.
Die Anwendungskon zentrationen in der Reinigungsflotte betragen etwa 0,5 bis 10 g/l, vor zugsweise 2 bis 5 g/l.The means to be used can be used both in household dishwashers as used in commercial dishwashers. The addition takes place by hand or by means of suitable metering devices. The application con concentrations in the cleaning liquor are about 0.5 to 10 g / l, before preferably 2 to 5 g / l.
The wash program is generally followed by some on the cleaning cycle following intermediate rinses with clear water and a rinse with added to a common rinse aid and finished. After drying you not only get a completely clean and hygienic one wall-free dishes, but above all, practically bright-shining Sil berbesteckteile.
