Die Erfindung bezieht sich speziell auf die Magnetbandkassette nach DIN 32 750 Teil 1. Ein Zahnrad wird an der Gehäuseschale rechtwinklig gelagert, es wird so dicht an die Rotationsfläche des Wickelkerns herangelagert, daß 2 Zähne leicht aufliegen, ohne die Drehung des Zahnrades freizugeben. Bei Drehung des Wickelkerns greift die Rippe das Zahnrad und dreht dieses, wobei durch die Vertiefungen eine Drehung um 2 Zähne erfolgt. Dieser Vorgang wiederholt sich bei jeder Umdrehung des Wickelkerns. Das Zahnrad greift rechtwinklig in das nächste, in der Gehäuseschale vertieft gelagerte Übertragungsrad ein, womit die Verbindung zum nächsten Zahnrad 2 gegeben ist. Da es sich bei dem Übertragungsrad 2, um ein sehr flaches Teil ohne Ritzel handelt, kann dies voll in der Wandung der Gehäuseschale E versenkt werden. Die anschließenden Antriebselemente liegen in dem, nicht von den Magnetbandwickeln D erfaßten Teil der Kassette, so daß der Wickelraum gegenüber der bekannten bisherigen Lösung, keine Beeinträchtigung erfährt.The invention solves the problem in that the winding core A or B is designed, at least on one side, without struts, which creates a flat surface of rotation.
