Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Konservierung menschlicher Knochensubstanz, insbesondere Knochenkernmasse (Spongiosa). The invention relates to a method for preservation human bone, in particular Bone core mass (cancellous bone).
Bone core mass is used in modern surgery numerous operations needed. As a bone core mass material is used which is used in operations, in Accident victims or the like. Before using it again are numerous histological, laboratory chemistry and others Bone examinations necessary. Only when all necessary findings are in order, the material may be implanted in another patient, e.g. B. to Filling bone defects. Because the criteria for not Findings objectionable due to the sharp increase in Infection options, e.g. B. AIDS, very strict the committee mass is also not usable bone core mass very grown.
Diese Risiken sind :In a known method, the human Bone core mass after mechanical pretreatment, stored or preserved at -30 ° C in the freezer. However, this does not result in sterilization, so that the later use of the bone core mass still with great risks. These risks are:
-
- extreme Infektionsgefahr von z. B. Aids,
- große Ausschußmasse bei Einhaltung der empfohlenen Blutbefunde,
- Blutgruppenunverträglichkeit ist gegeben,
- Beachtung desRhesusfaktors.
B. AIDS,
- large reject mass if the recommended blood results are observed,
- blood group intolerance is given,
- Consideration of the rheus factor. There is a danger here for young women during pregnancy,
- elaborate processing of the bone substance,
- sterile packaging is necessary,
- sterile processing is necessary,
- the shelf life is only one year,
- there is not always sufficient amount of bone core,
- Bone core mass is not always available in sufficient forms and
- Bone core mass is not always available in sufficient quantities in the required blood group.
The invention is therefore based on the object To create procedures that sterilize the Bone core mass allows.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that for the sterilization of the bone core mass
γ rays is irradiated.
An embodiment of the invention is non-sterile Pre-cleaning of the bone core mass with ultrasound.
The method is described in detail below. The bone core mass, e.g. B. frozen whole femoral heads or Pieces of bone that have already been partially prepared are Hospitals and stored in freezers. The bone core mass can still be non-sterile. The bone core mass is then placed in a sieve and cleaned in an ultrasonic bath without detergent. Then the bone pieces are sorted, e.g. B. whole Femoral heads, or in different sizes e.g. B. with chisel, Hammer or saw, sawn into disks, wedges or the like and cleaned again in an ultrasonic bath. It is also possible to make bone mass (cancellous bone) from the bones to work out with special instruments and these To press bone core mass, for example, in the form of a cube. The packaging is then carried out in containers, e.g. B. tubes. The bone substance prepared and packaged in this way is included γ-rays sterilized.
Mit γ-Strahlen sterilisierte Knochensubstanz hat mehrere sehr große Vorteile:Bone substance sterilized with γ rays has several very big advantages:
There is no longer any blood type intolerance, there is none after sterilization with γ-rays blood group-specific properties are more present,
- 2. die Proliferationsfähigkeit, d. h. die Fähigkeit, einen fremden Knochen zum Wachstum anzuregen, ist weiter vorhanden,2. the ability to proliferate, d. H. the ability to Encouraging foreign bones to grow continues available,
- 3. die Haltbarkeit beträgt fünf Jahre,3. the shelf life is five years,
- 4. die saubere Verpackung, z. B. in einem Röhrchen, ist für das OP-Personal sehr praktisch,4. the clean packaging, e.g. B. in a tube is for the operating room staff very practical,
- 5. es ist jederzeit ausreichend Knochenkernmasse vorhanden,5. there is sufficient bone core mass at all times,
B. des Hüftgelenkkopfes, notwendig und6. it is not a complex refurbishment of hip joint parts, e.g. B. the femoral head, necessary and
- 7. individuelle Knochenformen, z. B. Knochen-Scheiben, -Würfel, -Keile oder -Mehl, können angeboten werden.7. individual bone shapes, e.g. B. bone slices, - Cubes, wedges or flour can be offered.
Some of the advantages above, for example none Blood type intolerance more, combined with the continued proliferation ability are very large and were unpredictable in every way.
