Description
Method of preparing ceramic lasses for pressing in matrices. When molding plastic mass for ceramic purposes using dies in presses is used to prevent the mass from sticking to the matrices, usually the mass given an oil additive. To avoid this addition, i.e. the mass without (J ', only To be able to add water to it is a new method of preparing the mass riutzlicli, which forms the subject of the present invention. This procedure confesses in that the mass is not supplied in a dough-like state, but in one Something between doughy and powdery state. The dough-like mass becomes "an" t with so little water that rubbing it into a crumbly state can be moved. This mixture is made by rubbing or beating between two Surfaces formed into smaller or larger spheres, which are used for objects with wall thicknesses from i-5 mm to i mm in diameter, correspondingly for larger objects bigger. These balls can be in the form of powder in the cavities of the dies are introduced, but would stick to the matrices just like dough-like mass. To avoid this, these dough-like balls are completely dry, powdery Add mass, mix carefully and ensure that the press works quickly, then the moisture of the balls does not have time, the coating of dry powder to penetrate, and there is no sticking to the die. The procedure can can be further perfected by sieving the mass formed into spheres assorted in different sizes. By now either balls of the same size or by mixing larger and smaller balls together, as well as by adding the quantum the powdery mass to be added varies, one can achieve that the specific The weight of the mass changes at will to a fairly large extent, that is to say a certain cavity of the die holds more or less mass and that consequently the shaped objects turn out to be higher or lower.
