Description

Verfahren zur Gewinnung von Blausäure. Für die Gewinnung von Blausäure aus Rhodanwasserstoff wird nach Patent ¢ i o.4 i 8 freier Rhodanwasserstoff benutzt. Es hat sich nun gezeigt, daß die Abscheidung des freien Rhodanwasserstoffes für das Verfahren nicht nötig ist, sondern daß man statt dessen mit ebenso gutem Erfolge direkt Rhodanammoniumlösungen, und zwar auch solche, wie sie direkt .aus dem Betriebe kommen, benutzen kann, wenn man dafür sorgt, daß das in ihnen enthaltene Rhodanammonium verflüchtigt wird. Man kann dies auf verschiedene Weise erreichen: entweder auf mechanischem Wege oder direkt durch geeignete Temperaturwirkung, wobei es gleichgültig ist, ob die Verflüchtigung des Salzes als solches geschieht oder aber infolge von thermischer Dissoziation in Form seiner Einzelkomponenten.Process for the production of hydrogen cyanide. Betreffs des Rhodanammöns ist bekannt, daß es nicht uniersetzt flüchtig ist, anderseits ist aber auch bekannt, daß es unter stark vermindertem Druck uniersetzt destilliert werden kann. Vgl. hierzu E s c a 1 e s und K o e p k e, Journ. f. prakt. Chemie (z) 87, Seite 270, 1913. Es wurde nun gefunden, daß sich Rhodanammon auch in Gegenwart von Wasserdampf uniersetzt verflüchtigen läßt. Man kann dies praktisch erreichen, wenn man die Lösung einer sehr plötzlichen Verdampfung bei einer so hohen Temperatur aussetzt, daß sich das Salz sofort verflüchtigt. Vermutlich erfolgt die Verflüchtigung in Form der Einzelbestandteile des Salzes. Der dabei offenbar infolge thermischer Dissoziation auftretende freie Rhodanwasserstoff ist es dann, welcher der Reaktion nach dem Verfahren des Patentes 410418 unterliegt. Es ist klar, daß alle derartig flüchtigen Rhodanwasserstoffverbindungen, welche sich ähnlich wie das Rhodanammon verhalten, sich mit gleich gutem Erfolge eignen werden, so z. B. die Ester der Rhodanwasserstoffsäure, Senföle, soweit sie eine Rückumlagerung im Rhodanwasserstoffester erleiden, Salze der Rhadanwasserstoffsäure mit primären, sekundären und tertiären Aminen, wie Pyridin usw. Es ist ohne weiteres einleuchtend, daß durch die vorbeschriebene Verbesserung das Verfahren des Patentes 410418 ganz überraschend vereinfacht wird.With regard to rhodanammon, it is known that it is not volatile in uninterrupted form, but on the other hand it is also known that it can be distilled uninterruptedly under greatly reduced pressure.
