Description
The present invention relates to a device to monitor the condition of in a machine existing lubricating oil.
It is common knowledge that today in Internal combustion engines used lubricating oils by adding additives that behave chemically like salts long-term active basic character is conveyed. This from the manufacturer when the lubricating oil is new to the manufacturer fluctuating basic reserve is during the Operation of the internal combustion engine due to various influences, such as B. the acidic combustion residues caused by rinsing and leakage losses at the piston seals get into the oil, consumed so that after an undefined number of the operating hours of such a machine acidic character, with the addition of sulfuric acid strong perchloric acid H Cl 04 mainly formed decisive factor. Because of the lubricating oil wetted machine parts of the internal combustion engine in their Depending on the surface, the surface is mostly hardened Warming, the pressure and the water content standing effect of the acid content initially low. With increasing Concentration of acid is mainly due to Condensation effects have a devastating effect, however stormy pitting along the grain boundaries, causing the machine inevitably comes to failure or destruction.
A) is an oil monitoring device become known in which a number of sensors Changes in the oil condition can be detected. Here u. a. a sensor for determining the acid value is also provided, where the value determined by the sensor with a predetermined Value (threshold value) compared in a comparison device which produces an output signal which, together with of other also cooperating with associated sensors, generated similar working comparison devices Output signals of a higher-level evaluation circuit is fed.
Apart from the fact that with the previously known Oil monitoring device a quite considerable effort is not operated in this embodiment ensures that when the oil changes from basic to acidic character quasi an immediately evaluable reaction and so that an announcement is given. This in particular from the This is because the acid content is measured and only at one are above a predetermined threshold Acid fraction from the comparison device sends a signal to the downstream evaluation circuit is delivered. In this Evaluation circuit is a signal from everyone provided comparison devices provided signals formed, which in turn with a reference signal is compared and when it is exceeded Alarm signal triggers.
In addition, DE 36 38 714 C2 Oil monitoring device has become known in which several intended for the acquisition of different parameters Sensors are available, u. a. also a temperature sensor is provided. This temperature sensor is one so-called, u. a. also the oil type sensor that records the acid value or oil type sensor assigned, but not in the way to the output signal that changes with the temperature of the oil of the oil type sensor for a correct evaluation correct, but only a rough adjustment to make. The sole purpose is to: likely end of life of the oil indirectly Derive measurements from operating values of the machine.
The present invention has for its object a To create oil monitoring device with which for the Operator of a machine in a simple way Possibility to correctly record a critical There is a change in the lubricating oil.
According to the invention the task is characterized by Part of the main claim specified features solved. It is advantageous with an object designed in this way that the lubricating oil is always fully utilized in its lifetime and not after one from the machine manufacturer given, usually with a relatively large safety reserve provided time must be replaced.
Further particularly favorable configurations of the subject matter of the invention are in the dependent claims specified and are based on an embodiment the same explained in more detail.
As can be seen from the drawing, the z. B. as Internal combustion engine trained, one against the environment closed housing G machine M arranged, not shown for the sake of simplicity movable machine parts with lubricating oil Sch completely wetted. The lubricating oil is usually one Oil circuit subjected, preferably via a filter part is guided in the originating from the machine parts Abrasion particles are separated.
If it heats up quickly during operation running machines, such as B. internal combustion engines, there is Problem that the usually in new condition with a so-called basic reserve additives Lubricating oil Sch acidic in the course of its use Character takes on. To now the transition of the lubricating oil from basic to acidic character is that Oil circuit on at an exposed point on the machine arranged status sensor ZS assigned. This is preferably made of easily oxidizable metal wire is formed sensor element SE having state sensor ZS advantageously in an existing on the machine M to Drain the lubricating oil Sch provided, especially as one in the deepest section of the housing G introduced drain plug formed component BE integrated. The two preferably occur as Plug contact element ST 'trained connecting ends of Sensor element SE out of the component BE and are over associated mating plug-in contact elements ST '' and associated electrical lines connected to an evaluation circuit A. This is used to determine whether the resistance value of the immediately on an only slightly present acid character of the Lubricating oil Sch reacting sensor element SE changes. This change depends on the acidity and the exposure time. However, since the resistance value of the sensor element SE also changes changed depending on the temperature of the lubricating oil, a clear distinction must be made with the help of a temperature compensation means. This is achieved in that the temperature of the lubricating oil Sch with a PTC, NTC or PT 100 resistor Temperature sensor TS detects and the corresponding signal also the evaluation circuit A via plug contact elements ST *, ST ** and assigned lines L * is supplied. With this signal is then in the evaluation circuit A existing electronic comparator acted upon a corresponding comparison of the measured Resistance value of the state sensor ZS makes. Instead of such a temperature sensor TS and associated electronic evaluation element can of course also the status sensor ZS directly as a bridge circuit Temperature compensation means can be assigned.
Then the resistance value of the state sensor ZS actually changed by the action of acid, so initiated the evaluation circuit A a warning organ W, which with a optical and / or acoustic signal S the operator of the Machine immediately on the beginning critical condition of the Lubricating oil draws attention.
