Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for determining the effectiveness an anti-fog agent.
As far as known, there is no device with which the Effectiveness of an anti-fog agent objectively determined or can be measured. However, on such devices Requirement.
The invention is therefore based on the object vorzu a device beat, with which the effectiveness of an anti-fog agent be can be voted.
To achieve this object, the device according to the invention is known is indicated by a in a beam path of a light source ordered sample glass, the one coming from the light source Scattered light falls on a receiver, the intensity of the Scattered light measures.
One classifies in the beam path with the relevant Antibe impact-coated or coated glass, for example put on a pair of glasses and measure the intensity of the scattered light. If you record the course of the measurement curve over time, so you get a good and objective measure of the effectiveness of the anti-fog agent concerned.
With the device according to the invention, the effectiveness of Anti-fog agents of all types can be measured.
Preferably in the beam path between the sample glass and the Receiver for the primary beam and / or for stray light orderly. The bezels essentially affect the receiver only stray light that is of interest here.
It is also recommended that a holder be easily replaced selectable holding of the sample glass is provided.
If preferably a neutral lens can be replaced in the beam path (Gray glass) is arranged, the sensitivity of the Em are well adapted to the light intensity in question.
Es zeigt:The invention is based on an exemplary embodiment les explained, from which other important features emerge ben. It shows:
Fig. 1 schematisch den Aufbau des erfindungsgemäßen Geräts; Fig. 1 shows schematically the structure of the device according to the invention;
Fig. 2 ein mit dem Gerät nach Fig. 1 gemessenes Diagramm, und zwar bei 50% Luftfeuchte und 19,5°C; FIG. 2 shows a diagram measured with the device according to FIG. 1, specifically at 50% atmospheric humidity and 19.5 ° C.
Fig. 3 is a diagram corresponding to Fig. 2, wherein the air humidity was 76% and the temperature 22.5 ° C.
In Fig. 1, a light source 1 is shown, through which an optical axis 2 of the device is defined. On this sits a Kol limator 3 , which feeds the light to a sample glass 4 . The sample glass is easily replaceable in a sample holder 5 with a sample holder 6 . In addition, an object field diaphragm 7 is seen here.
Verhältnismäßig dicht vor dem Empfänger be findet sich eine Streulichtblende 11.Behind the sample glass 4 , the light passes through a first collecting lens 8 and to a second collecting lens 9 and from there to a receiver 10 . A lens hood 11 is located relatively close to the receiver.
The measuring field (glass 4 ) is imaged on the opening of the aperture 11 via the optics.
An aperture 12 for the primary light beam is also provided between the converging lenses 8 , 9 .
Between the aperture 11 and the receiver 10 , a replaceable neutral glass can be arranged so that the receiver z. B. once on the scattered light of the droplets of fog and with a lighter neutral glass z. B. is set to the Schlieren measurement of the sample glass.
Fig. 1 zeigt auch den Beleuchtungs-Strahlengang 16 und den Streu licht-Strahlengang 17. Fig. 1 also shows the illumination beam path 16 and the scattered light beam path 17th It can be seen that the light source 1 is imaged on the diaphragm 12 , which stops the light beam. The scattered light is imaged on the opening of the diaphragm 11 , from where it arrives in the receiver 10 (eg photomultiplier). Thus, only measuring light reaches the receiver.
The sample glass 4 was once clean, ie steam-fitting without water, and, on the other hand, with a fog-prevention agent and steam-fitting in the apparatus. These tests were carried out on the one hand with a sample glass made of plastic and on the other hand with a sample glass made of silicate glass. The results are shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, specifically at different air humidities and temperatures.
The measuring device is based on the principle that the water vapor fitting consists of microscopic droplets in which the white light striking the light source 1 on the contours and is often broken inside the droplets. Each droplet becomes a self-emitter and the entirety of all droplets on the sample glass becomes a diffuse spreader.
The amount of scattered light is therefore a measure of the occupancy density of the object in question (sample glass 4 ).
Fig. 2 shows a curve 13 for a plastic glass without pretreatment with an anti-fog agent. Curve 14 shows the measurement result for a silicate glass, likewise without pretreatment with an anti-fogging agent. Curve 15 shows the measurement results for a plastic glass with a special anti-fogging agent and in curve 16 the measurement results of a silicate glass, just if treated with a special anti-fogging agent.
It should be mentioned that the percentage of scattered light is plotted against the time measured in minutes in FIGS. 2 and 3.
The lenses of curves 15 and 16 remain clear. They are somewhat streaky with color reflections when wet. After drying, very fine, barely visible residues remain.
In the experiment shown in FIG. 2, the air humidity was 50% and the temperature was 19.5 ° C.
In the experiment shown in FIG. 3, the air humidity was 76% and the temperature was 22.5 ° C. In Fig. 3, the measurement curves already explained above in connection with Fig. 2 are reproduced ben, namely at the increased air humidity and elevated temperature as indicated.
In the experimental conditions of FIG. 3, both glasses fog-treated with the anti were very wet, but transparent. After drying, streaks appeared.
