Description

Endlose Trockenkette für Briefumschlagmasnhinen. Zusatz zum Patent 363o28. Durch das Hauptpatent 363028 ist eine endlose Trockenkette für Briefumschlagmaschinen geschützt, bei welcher die Zinken der Kettenglieder mit Rippen versehen sind, die die untere Verschlußklappe der Briefumschläge nach Verlassen der Falzvorrichtung behufs Trocknung der Klebestellen anpressen, und zwar sind die Rippen derart ausgebildet, daß sie sich in Richtung der Klebestellen .auf diese in ihrer ganzen Länge und Breite auflegen. Bei dieser Maschine hat sich j edoch herausgestellt, .daß nur Bniefumschläge von ungefähr gleichem Format in ein und derselben Trockenkette zuverlässig zusammengepreßt werden können, weil nur eine Rippe zwischen den Zinken der Kettenglieder angeordnet ist. Der Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ermöglicht nun, Brief-Umschläge verschiedener Größe und verschiedenen Formats mit gleich gutem Erfolge in der Trockenkette zu behandeln, und zwar dadurch, daß zwischen den Zinken der Trockenkette zwei oder mehr Rippen angeordnet werden..Endless drying chain for envelope machines.
