Das neue Verfahren basirt auf dem Verhalten des Zinkstaubs, beim Erhitzen mit "Wasser abgebenden Körpern dieses derart zu zersetzen, dafs sich Wasserstoffgas und Zinkoxyd bildet. Die Reaction zwischen Zinkstaub und Kalkhydrat ist schon bekannt.
