Description
Verfahren zur Wiedergewinnung des Kampfers aus Zelluloidabfällen. Die bei der Herstellung des Rohzelluloids oder auch bei der Zelluloidwarenfabrikation erhaltenen Abfälle gehen im allgemeinen wieder in die Fabrikation zurück. Das hat jedoch gewisse Nachteile, da die Nitrozellulose durch das wiederholte Anwärmen und die Behandlung mit chemischen Agenzien immer unstabiler wird. Kleinere Abfälle können schon wegen der in ihnen enthaltenen Verunreinigungen in dieser Weise nicht verwertet werden; man nimmt sie entweder in Lösungsmitteln auf (zur Herstellung von Klebstoffen, veredelnden Überzügen u. dgl.@ oder behandelt sie mit Wasserdampf, um den Kampfer wiederzugewinnen. Dabei wird jedoch nur ein Bruchteil des Kampfers abgetrieben.Process for the recovery of camphor from celluloid waste.
