Es sind elektrische Türkontakte bekannt, bestehend aus einem am Türrahmen angebrachten ortsfesten Organ und einem an der Tür angebrachten zweiten Kontaktorgan, wobei durch die Bewegung (das öffnen und Schließen) der Tür beide Kontaktteile zeitweise in Berührung gebracht werden und so einen elektrischen Stromkreis schließen für Signal-, Alarm- oder auch Beleuchtungszwecke. Bei einfachen Kontakteinrichtungen dieser Art findet hierbei ein Stromschluß statt, wenn die Tür eine gewisse Zwischenstellung passiert, einerlei, ob dies während des öffnens oder Schließens der Tür geschieht.
