Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein gasdichter Abschluß des Deckels von Gefäßen mit innerem Überdruck. Es sind bereits Flaschenverschlüsse bekannt, bei denen ein Gummiring durch. Nach dem festen Aufschrauben des Deckels 2 wird der Metallring 7 so weit nach innen gedrückt, daß der eine Schenkel gegen
die konische Fläche 6 stößt. Der Innenraum des U-förmigen Ringes steht also in Verbindung
mit der Gewindefuge 3. 8 ist die Ausgußmasse, ζ. B. Zinnlot, das in die Fuge hineingegossen
ist und an dem Absatz 9 sein Rücklager findet. Tritt infolge inneren Überdrucks Gas durch das Gewinde nach außen,
so gelangt es in den Innenraum des U-förmigen Ringes 7 und preßt diesen, je höher der
innere Druck ist, desto energischer gegen Gefäß und Deckelwand, wodurch der dauernde
luftdichte Abschluß gewährleistet ist. Zum Zweck des Lösens des Deckels ist es nur
nötig, das Zinnlot mittels Gebläseflamme herauszuschmelzen. Fig. 2 shows this seal between the vessel and lid once again on an enlarged scale.
