Um bei elektrischen Apparaten die Stromstärke auf bequeme Weise verändern zu können, wird die auf beiliegender Zeichnung, Fig. 1 bis 6, dargestellte Einrichtung zur Anwendung gebracht. Dieselbe besteht im wesentlichen aus einem bandartigen Streifen, in dessen Innern ein mit nicht leitendem Material verzwirnter Leitungsdraht derartig neben anderen Fäden als Schufs eingearbeitet ist, dafs seine einzelnen parallelen Lagen einestheils durch die noch vorhandenen Schufsfäden isolirt sind; aufserdem sind an den Rändern des Bandes die Drähte durch Kettenfäden von einander isolirt gehalten.
