Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a game with at least one surface, such as surface a preferably cuboid housing, existing playing field with on given positions in recesses of the playing field rotatably or pivotally mounted Game building blocks, on their outer surfaces in different sections for the game required game symbols are provided.
A game is known from US Pat. No. 3,599,977 in which triangular-shaped building blocks in a bottom closed housing are rotatably arranged. The Game component held by an axis due to gravity.
According to US Pat. No. 1,087,797, the housing is also closed on the bottom Play blocks rotatably supported, which are penetrated by an axis. The axis itself is surrounded by spring elements, on the one hand by an emanating from the axis Counter bearings and on the other hand can be supported on the game module itself.
According to SU 394052, cylinder bodies are rotatably arranged in a housing, whereby the rotatable bodies protrude from the housing both on the top and bottom.
Für die Lagerung der Spielelemente sind Achsen, Kugelkäfige oder Wälzlager vorgesehen (DE-GM 76 21 211).It is already a game board with stationary game elements known, the middle of the game board at necessary for the game Make within circular, square or rectangular viewing and control openings are attached. From the top there is only one section with a symbol on the Game elements visible below the upper level of the Playfield rotatably supported and ball, roller or disc are formed. For the storage of the game elements are Axes, ball cages or rolling bearings are provided (DE-GM 76 21 211).
The well-known game board contains below the perforated or slotted part a counterpart, the cage-shaped Has storage space for the game elements. Will the game board installed outdoors, then rainwater collects in the Storage areas that can not without tilting the entire game board eliminate it. The rainwater favors corrosion. In addition, touching wet or damp play elements uncomfortable.
The invention lies u. a. the task is a game of to further develop the genus described at the beginning, that it avoids the disadvantages of known game boards for outdoor installation is particularly suitable. In particular which should be ensured that the game clean without problems and can be kept hygienically perfect. Also supposed to be guaranteed that the game building blocks in the desired Position definable and there against unwanted turning or Swiveling are secured.
The object is achieved according to the invention solved that several building blocks along a circular path in uniform Distances in supports are rotatable about parallel axes, that the carrier is rotatable in the field around an axis are parallel to the axes of the game building blocks, that the building blocks are individually adjustable by rotating the carrier and that the building of the game stones of a carrier are assigned to a recess. Preferably, the recess of the Matched to the size of the game pieces so that the game pieces of the Recess are not pivotable. With this embodiment There are many different game symbols on the select the same position on the playing field. Therefore suitable this embodiment is suitable for games with many game symbols such as B. Chess. Not pivoting means that the The game component below the recess is not so can be rotated that the symbol is changed.
The carriers are expediently designed as disks, between which the game components are arranged and their Protruding edges beyond at least the top of the field. In this embodiment, the edges of the straps of Hand grasped to the carrier in the desired Bring rotational position.
It is convenient if the game components are flat like lenticular or are ellipsoidal. Such an embodiment is particularly suitable for chess.
The invention is illustrated below by the embodiment shown in the drawing examples explained in more detail.

A playing field ( 1 ), which has the shape of a mill board, contains recesses ( 2 ) at those places where freely moving game components are placed in a normal game. Below the upper side of the playing field ( 1 ), which is not specified in any more detail, play building blocks ( 3 ) are rotatably or pivotably mounted in the cutouts ( 2 ). The game building blocks ( 3 ) are thus captive and can be rotated or pivoted at the positions on the playing field ( 1 ) which can be occupied by playing figures. Various sections with markings are provided on the surfaces of the game building blocks ( 3 ), which correspond on the one hand to an unoccupied space and on the other hand to the two different types of game pieces with which the mill is played. In Fig. 1, all game building blocks with sections that correspond to free playgrounds face upwards, ie a free mill board is offered.
The playing field ( 1 ) contains two symmetrical halves of the playing board ( 4 ), each bearing the same markings. The game board halves ( 4 ) each have half the strength of the playing field ( 1 ) and are connected to each other at the center of the game modules ( 3 ). The game modules ( 3 ) have axes described in more detail below, by means of which they are rotatably mounted in the recesses ( 2 ) of the game board halves ( 4 ). The storage consists of a pair of half shells, which are arranged as recesses in the game board halves ( 4 ) and which complement each other when the game board halves ( 4 ) are joined to form a cylindrical bearing.
In Fig. 3 a playing field ( 5 ) for a checkers game is partially shown. The playing field ( 5 ) contains recesses ( 6 ) in the middle of the individual fields arranged in the manner of a chessboard, in which playing modules ( 7 ) are arranged. The playing field ( 5 ), like the playing field ( 1 ), has two identical game halves ( 8 ), each of which has the shape of a hollow cuboid with the cutouts ( 6 ). The board halves ( 8 ) are connected to one another at the edges of the side walls. The strengths of the game board halves ( 8 ) are matched to the diameter of the game components ( 7 ). The game components ( 7 ) are barrel-shaped and each contain three sections of the same size for game symbols on the cylindrical outside. The markings corresponding to the two different characters of the checkers game are placed on two sections. The third section contains the marking or color corresponding to the free field. The game building blocks ( 7 ) protrude somewhat with their cylinder jackets from the top or the bottom of the playing field ( 5 ). The game modules ( 7 ) are rotatably held by the recesses ( 2 ), the width of which is smaller than the diameter of the game modules ( 7 ). It is advantageous if ring-shaped reinforcements are provided close to the end faces of the game components, on which the game components ( 7 ) can be gripped for rotation. In FIGS. 3 and 4 the corresponding marks a free field of toy building bricks (7) are facing upwards.
In Fig. 5 a playing field (9) is shown for a checkers game. The game field ( 9 ) contains two identical game board halves ( 10 ) which have spherical sector-shaped recesses ( 11 ). The two game board halves ( 10 ) are placed one on top of the other and fastened together. The recesses ( 11 ) are located at corresponding locations in the game board halves ( 10 ), so that the recesses ( 11 ) add up to spherical zone bearings when the game board halves ( 10 ) are connected to one another. The spherical building blocks ( 12 ) are rotatably mounted in the bearings. The game building blocks ( 12 ) have three spherical cap-shaped sections on their surfaces, which adjoin each other and each contain different game symbols for a free playing field or the two game figures for a queen game. In the playing field ( 9 ) shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the markings corresponding to a free playing field are directed upwards. The diameters of the game building blocks ( 12 ) are somewhat larger than the sum of the strengths of the game board halves ( 10 ), so that the game building blocks ( 12 ) protrude above the top and bottom of the playing field ( 9 ). This makes them easy to grip for the purpose of rotation. The playing fields ( 1 ), ( 5 ) and ( 9 ) are designed to be liquid-permeable. For this purpose, stone gaps can be provided between the game board halves and the game structure, through which the liquid can flow downward. The game board halves ( 4 ), ( 8 ) and ( 10 ) therefore do not retain any liquid that gets onto the playing fields ( 1 ), ( 5 ) and ( 9 ). The playing fields ( 1 ), ( 5 ) and ( 9 ) are therefore suitable for outdoor installation. You can e.g. B. in playgrounds and parks or the like with a carrier, for. B. be connected to a table. Rainwater cannot accumulate in the playing fields ( 1 ), ( 5 ) or ( 9 ). The playing fields ( 1 ), ( 5 ) and ( 9 ) are therefore available to play again shortly after rain. The identical, symmetrical game board halves ( 4 ), ( 8 ) and ( 10 ) make it possible that each side of the game fields ( 1 ), ( 5 ) and ( 9 ) can be used for the game. Therefore, a playing field ( 1 ), ( 5 ), ( 9 ) can easily be turned through 180 ° if one side, e.g. B. due to wear, should no longer be suitable for playing.
The "water permeability" can also be done in other ways respectively. So can breakthroughs in the side walls and / or be provided in a bottom wall that is not must necessarily be designed as a playing field. Is too imaginable that the actual playing field of a frame construction is held, which also rotates the game building blocks holds. In this way, easy cleaning or a liquid passage guaranteed.
Fig. 7 shows a detail of the playing field ( 1 ) with a recess ( 2 ), in which a game component ( 3 ) is arranged, which in its upward section for marking a certain type of game figures a domed cap ( 13 ) and a circular Has elevation that concentrically surrounds the cap ( 13 ). The recess ( 2 ) is located in the center of two tracks ( 15 ) crossed at 90 °.
A field ( 16 ) of the checkers game shown in FIG. 3 is shown in more detail in FIG. 8. A play module ( 7 ) in the opening ( 6 ) has a pyramid-shaped, raised projection ( 17 ) on its upward section, which is assigned to a first type of game characters. The play module ( 7 ) can be touched at the lateral edges ( 18 ) which protrude above the top of the field ( 16 ) when it is to be rotated.
FIG. 9 shows a field ( 19 ) of the checkers game shown in FIG. 5. The spherical toy building block ( 12 ), like the toy building block ( 3 ), has the cap ( 13 ) and the annular elevation ( 14 ) in a section which is directed upwards according to FIG. 9.
A game module ( 20 ) which can be used for both a mill and a lady game and for other games in which two types of different symbols are required for playing is shown in FIG. 10. The game module ( 20 ) has an approximately spherical outer shape. An axis ( 21 ) runs through the center of the play module ( 20 ), the ends ( 22 ) of which protrude beyond the outside and are each rotatably mounted in bearings ( 23 ). The outside of the game module ( 20 ) has three sections ( 24 ), ( 25 ), ( 26 ). Section ( 24 ) symbolizes a free field not occupied by a character, e.g. B. the checkers game. The section ( 24 ) is therefore designed as a smooth ball cap. A smooth ball cap can also be felt by visually impaired or blind people. In addition, section ( 24 ) can also have a specific color.
Section ( 25 ) symbolizes a first type of character, e.g. B. the checkers game. In order to enable palpation by visually impaired or blind people, section ( 25 ) is designed plastically. It contains a spherical cap ( 27 ) which sits on a concave circular sector ( 28 ). An annular spherical surface section ( 29 ) is provided below the circular sector ( 28 ), which is followed by a concave shoulder ( 30 ) in the direction of the center of the play module ( 20 ). In section ( 26 ), which symbolizes the second type of game figure, a larger spherical cap, not specified, is provided as a plastic design, which is followed by a larger concave shoulder ( 31 ) in the direction of the center ( 20 ), which extends into a broad spherical zone section ( 32 ) passes.
The game module ( 20 ) contains a cavity ( 33 ) z. B. is shaped like a spherical zone. Diametrically opposite the respective sections ( 24 ), ( 25 ) and ( 26 ), radially outwardly protruding bulges ( 34 ), ( 35 ), ( 36 ) are provided in the cavity ( 33 ). In the cavity ( 33 ) there is a ball ( 37 ) made of steel or lead, the dimensions of which are adapted to the bulges ( 34 ), ( 35 ), ( 36 ). The ball ( 37 ) rolls freely movable in the cavity ( 33 ) within the rotatably mounted game component s in a bulge ( 34 ), ( 35 ), ( 36 ), so that always one of the sections ( 24 ), ( 25 ), ( 26 ) is visible from above in the respective recess of a playing field ( 1 ), ( 5 ) or ( 9 ). The game module ( 20 ) assumes a stable position. If another section is to be brought into the position visible from above, then the play module ( 20 ) is pivoted by hand to such an extent that the bulge diametrically opposite the respective section occupies the deepest position of the bulges. The ball ( 37 ) then automatically rolls into the deepest bulge, which in turn results in a stable position of the play module ( 20 ). The play building blocks ( 20 ) preferably consist of a weather-resistant, water-impermeable plastic, while the axis ( 21 ) is made of V2A steel. The game boards are preferably cast boards with a thickness of 10 mm.
Fig. 13 shows a toy building block (38) in a first, stable position with a portion (39) from above. The section ( 39 ) is designed plastically and has a spherical cap for marking a first type of toy figure, from which a ring ( 40 ) projects. In a second, stable position shown in FIG. 14 there is a second section ( 41 ), in the position visible from above. Section ( 41 ) symbolizes a free space or a space not occupied by a figure and is therefore only designed as a spherical cap. In a third, shown in Fig. 15, stable position of the toy building block ( 38 ) a section ( 42 ) is visible from above, which is designed as a spherical cap and has two rings ( 43 ), ( 44 ) which project and are arranged concentrically to one another are. The game module ( 38 ) z. B. a metallic, hollow inner support body ( 45 ) which is designed in the manner of a triangle and has an axis which runs in the longitudinal direction through the center. The axis is rotatably arranged in bearings of a gaming table, not shown. The sections ( 39 ), ( 41 ), ( 42 ) are connected as a plastic body to the support body ( 45 ), which contains openings, not specified, into which projections of the sections ( 39 ), ( 41 ), ( 42 ) are inserted. A metal ball ( 46 ) is freely movable in the cavity of the support body ( 45 ) and always moves to the deepest corner of the support body ( 45 ). As a result, the play module ( 38 ) can assume one of the three stable positions shown in FIGS. 13 to 15.
Fig. 17 shows a game module ( 47 ) in longitudinal section, which consists of a plastic. The play module contains a cavity ( 48 ) in which a ball ( 49 ) is movably arranged, which lies in a bulge ( 50 ) which projects radially outwards. The game module ( 47 ) has a section ( 51 ) for symbolizing a first type of game character. The section ( 51 ) is glued into a base body ( 52 ) in which the cavity ( 48 ) is located. Two axle shafts ( 53 ) protrude outwards from the base body ( 52 ) and are rotatably mounted in bearings on a playing field ( 54 ).
In the playing field ( 55 ) shown in FIGS. 18 and 19, game building blocks ( 56 ) are rotatably supported at equal intervals from one another along a circular path ( 57 ) by means of axes ( 58 ) in two disc-shaped carriers ( 59 ), ( 60 ). The game building blocks ( 56 ) have two stable positions. These can be achieved with weights such as balls, which are located in cavities of the game components ( 56 ), not shown. Positioning is also possible using spring elements or detents. In the one stable position, a first symbol or empty field is marked on a first section ( 61 ). The second section is for marking a second symbol z. B. determined a figure of a chess game. The carriers ( 59 ), ( 60 ) have an axis ( 63 ) which is rotatably mounted in the game board halves ( 64 ), ( 65 ) of the game field ( 55 ). The disc-shaped supports ( 59 ), ( 60 ) protrude a bit beyond the top and bottom ( 66 ), ( 67 ) of the playing field ( 55 ). In order to arrange the game components ( 56 ) with the desired symbol in the recess ( 68 ), a turning device is provided within the space delimited by the top and bottom ( 66 ), ( 67 ) such as a projection () protruding into the path of the game components ( 61 ) ( 80 ), which has a wheel element ( 81 ) at its free end to reduce the friction. When the carriers ( 59 ), ( 60 ) are rotated, a play module ( 61 ) slides along each one so that it is turned. The carriers ( 59 ), ( 60 ) are then rotated until the desired symbol of a game component ( 56 ) appears in the recess ( 68 ). The playing fields ( 54 ) and ( 55 ) are also permeable to water.
The tracks ( 15 ) or field edges ( 69 ), ( 70 ) are preferably also formed as projections so that they can be felt by visually impaired or blind people.
The playing fields ( 1 ), ( 5 ), ( 9 ), ( 54 ) and ( 55 ) can be permanently installed on tables outdoors.
So that the column ( 71 ) between the game components and the game board halves cannot be eliminated by axially displacing the game components, the game components, e.g. B. the game module ( 47 ) on their axle shafts paragraphs ( 72 ), the diameter of which is larger than the bearing diameter. The length of the sections ( 72 ) projecting beyond the outside of the game component ( 47 ) determines the minimum thickness of the gap between the outside of the game component ( 47 ) and the opposite wall of the game board half.
FIG. 20 shows an inventive example of the play module ( 38 ), which can be fixed in position by spring elements ( 153 ) and ( 154 ). These surround the sections of the axle shaft ( 33 ) which extend outside the play module ( 38 ) and act on the play module ( 38 ) in such a way that it remains in any desired position. Such a design is structurally simple and ensures that, for. B. even with bent axle shafts a desired and controlled position fixation is possible. This is often no longer possible with weight-dependent positioning. The game according to the invention can consist of wood, metal, cast iron, plastic or also from recycling material. The intended use and location are decisive for the choice of material. Regardless of this, however, the at least on two different sides, one of which is the playing surface, the liquid permeability present and / or the position of the fixing pieces by spring action can be described as defining the invention.
