Abstract

The earring has a fixed element (1) and a movable element (3) having an aperture both which are hinged together at lower portion of fixed element. This allows the movable element to rotate in closed position to form a button-like type earring. In open position, the earring forms a pendant-like type of earring. A fastener is mounted on the fixed element releasably locking the earring to the lobe of the wearer. The fastener extends through the aperture in the closed position and is free from interference from the movable element in rotation of its open position.
