Abstract

The adjustable articulated strip is particularly for windows and doors, having one part (1) fixed to the frame and a second hinging on it and fixed to the opening portion. The second part (2) comprises a fixed member (5) and an adjusting one (6) sliding in relation to it at right angles to the hinge axis (7) under the action of a steplessly-adjsutable drive with a self-locking action. A locking screw (12) extends through as elongated hole (11) in the adjusting member. The adjusting drive comprises a slide block (8) moving parallel to the hinge axis (7) in the fixed member. This has a toothed rack (9) inclined for adjusting member meshes with the rack.
