in jeder Stellung hervorrufen.
in Verbindung stehen.
Der Bolzen des Gelenks e istTo regulate air flows in wind lines, it has hitherto been customary to arrange a rotatable throttle flap or a number of louvre flaps rotating around their axis, the inclined position of which narrows the passage cross-section and thus throttles the flow. However, these devices divert the flow from their direction, creating strong eddies ίο. This causes considerable power losses, which require additional power to cover. In order to avoid this loss of force, according to the present invention, bodies for throttling are built in, the shape of which is adapted to the flow lines and which cause eddy-free throttling in every position. For this purpose, the cross-section of the body can be changed symmetrically, but the transition from the free to the throttled cross-section takes place in every position with a gradual narrowing and subsequent gradual widening to the free cross-section. The bodies are advantageously given a teardrop-like or rhomboid shape and in the latter case consist of four plates each articulated with one another, the end pins of which can be displaced in guides and the middle upper pins of which are connected to adjusting rods. This ensures that the static pressure of the stream is maintained with gradual conversion in speed and subsequent gradual conversion back as static pressure; In other words: it is not so high a static pressure required before the throttling, as is necessary with the other throttle devices to cover the force losses caused by the eddies. In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown, namely Fig. Ι shows a longitudinal section through the device and Fig. 2 shows a partial view and : a section transverse to the wind conduit. Adjustable bodies, which consist of the upper metal sheets b and the lower metal sheets c, are built into the wind pipe α. The metal sheets are linked to one another by joints e, f and g. The bolt of the joint e is
■ mit Stangen d verbunden, während der Bolzen ■ connected with rods d while the bolt
The bolt of the joints f is completely free and has no connection with the rods d. By lifting the bolt e , the metal sheets b are pulled upwards so that the bolts g approach the rods d. Here the bolt f is lowered so that the two plates b and c always carry out movements in opposite directions. In the drawing, the sheets b and c are shown, but you can also use them
verringert wird.j give a different shape in order to achieve the lowest flow resistance, e.g. B. the teardrop shape. The baffles form conical channels in the air inlet as well as in the air outlet and divide the total air flow into individual flows. When the linkage d is raised , the passage cross-section becomes narrower, so that the amount of air passing through is reduced.
Instead of four articulated panels, you can also use two elastically connected panels
be used.
z. B. bei Unterwindleitungen, bei Saugzügen u. dgl.The throttle device is advantageously used when it is a question of
to create an air volume that can be regulated precisely and within wide limits through a pipe,
z. B. with underwind lines, suction drafts and the like.
