Der Putzkörper α liegt leicht auswechselbar
in einer Metallplatte b und besteht aus Kork, Leder oder sonst einem geeigneten Reibestück.
Die Platte b ist mit einer Stange c fest verbunden, die mittels federnder Arme d am
Gehäuse e, das gleichzeitig als Griff dient, befestigt ist. Das Gehäuse e ist durch einen
Deckel f abgeschlossen, durch den ein pulverförmiges Putzmittel eingefüllt werden kann.
Das pulverförmige Putzmittel kann durch Öffnungen g im Gehäuse e austreten, wenn
diese öffnungen nicht durch einen unter Druck einer Feder h stehenden Teller i abgedeckt
sind. Die federnden Arme d halten die Stange c in der Mittellage, bei der der Teller i die öffnung
g vollständig abdeckt. Bewegt man nun das Putzstück α auf der Putzfläche i in beliebiger
Richtung, so wird immer entgegengesetzt der Bewegungsrichtung das Putzstück α abgedrückt und aus dem dadurch offen
gelegten Loch g rieselt das Putzmittel vor dem Putzstück auf den zu putzenden Gegenstand.
Der letztere ist also stets vor dem Putzstück mit Putzmittel belegt, während aus keiner anderen
Stelle Putzmittel austritt. Einerseits wird also das Putzmittel stets an die Putzstelle
gebracht und anderseits werden keine anderen Stellen mit Putzmittel versehen, so
