Abstract

The invention relates to epoxide/amine adducts which are obtainable by reacting one or more di- and/or polyepoxides with 1 or more amino compounds having at least 1 active aminohydrogen atom and subsequent neutralisation or oxidation of the tertiary amino groups of the resulting epoxide/amine adducts with an acid or an oxidising agent. These epoxide/amine adducts can be used alone or together with 1 or more hardeners in the form of solvent-free, low-solvent, solvent-containing, water-soluble or water-thinnable binder systems in the clear or pigmented state for protecting mineral and metallic substrates, fabric, wood, paperboard, gypsum, cardboard, paper or plastics, for modifying hydraulic or mineral render or concrete and for producing electrical insulation laminates, fibre-reinforced plastics or thermally stable mouldings, and as hot-curing one-component systems for producing polyethers of enhanced chemical resistance.
