Bottom drive for freely swinging plansifters. The invention relates
on free-swinging plansifters with bottom drive, where the mass of the
Classifier box by a sitting on its lower shaft stub when starting
the sifter swinging weight is compensated. The invention consists in
that on the axis of rotation of this swing weight a fork-shaped hanging downwards
Bracket sits, the lower end of which is connected to the drive shaft by a ball joint
is. If the shaft is set in rotation, it sets the sifter under mediation
this bracket vibrates. The bracket swings out until it hits you
meets the stop seen at the stub shaft. But when the sifter comes to rest
it is pushed back into its resting position by the sinking swing weight.
The purpose of this arrangement is to achieve that the center point of the ball joint
both during operation and when the plansifter is at a standstill
lies in the central axis of the drive shaft, so that it is always perpendicular.
Antriebswelle i. verbunden ist.
In the drawing, Fig. I shows an embodiment of the invention in operation, Fig. Z the same embodiment with the plansifter at a standstill. The neck bearing c then rotates around the bearing pin b mounted under the classifier box 0. The neck bearing, which forms a stub shaft with the bearing pin, is driven from below by means of the ball pin d, which is connected to the drive shaft i by the ball joint 1T. connected is. The wave i. is driven by the pulley in. The flyweight P and also the bracket e carrying the ball stud d move together about the axis of rotation a. As soon as the classifier is put into operation, the weight P swings upwards as a result of the centrifugal force. At the same time, the bracket e swings out together with the ball stud d. This swing out is supported by a spring-loaded bolt f arranged on the stub shaft until the bracket is pressed against an adjusting screw g. The adjusting screw is set so that the swinging out of the bracket is equal to half the plan sifter stroke. During this process, the classifier box _0 by half the stroke 1, to '@ the close-set side like the bracket from-Z, gave way, so that the weight of the classifier box 0 on lever arm 1, after one and the weight P on lever arm L after the other side acts, so the centrifugal forces balance each other out. The drive shaft i: rotates vertically around the ideal axis of rotation x, while the central axis x1 of the classifier box describes a circle with radius 1. The classifier box thus makes the known oscillating movement. If the plan sifter is stopped, the weight P falls into its rest position, the effect of the centrifugal force ceases, and the stop h presses on the arm of the swing weight as soon as it touches the bracket e and pushes it back by the distance 1. At the same time, the separator box goes back the same distance 1 from the lift position to its lowest position, so it comes to hang exactly vertically again, so that the central axes x and x coincide.
The drive shaft i is therefore both during operation and
vertical even when at rest. The classifier starts up easily and the spring action
of the bolt f favors the entry of the classifier box Q in the lift position.
By adjusting the adjusting screw g, the stroke of the sifter can be reduced or
be enlarged. The centrifugal masses can therefore be "-earthed" exactly.
