Abstract
A metal outer ring (1) surrounds the ceramic body (2) in which one or more solid or tubular metal pins (3) penetrate through holes in the ceramic in which they have been secured firmly. The pins are surrounded by areas (4) of a metallic layer between the ignition fuse is formed (5). Pref. materials are claimed as follows: The ring and pins are high quality steel or an other heat-resistant, high melting pt. metallic material. The ceramic is alumina, silica or zirconia. The conductive layer surrounding the pins is a thin or thick film of noble metals or alloys from Gp. VII of the Periodic System, which may be formed by screenprinting or galvanic processing. The fuse-layer may be a wire or a film deposited by evaporation, sputtering or screen-printing.
