Description

Process for the ash removal of ammonia from those under high pressure Reaction gases in trickle towers. It is well known that the extraction of the synthetic ammonia produced certain difficulties by absorption in the high-pressure apparatus. As a result, it has been proposed to exclude deposition by absorption to undertake the high pressure gases in such a way that the gas is in cocurrent with the absorbent passes through cooled pipes or pipe systems.

It has now been shown that aminonia can be used in technical terms can also be obtained in a satisfactory manner by absorption in trickle towers, if one directs the absorption, e.g. B. by cooling the trickle tower only so far or passes the high-pressure gases through so quickly that they leave the absorption apparatus Gases as well as the obtained aminonia solution emerge still hot and both of them in them contained heat is only withdrawn outside of the absorption apparatus. Even if the Concentration of the A.inmoniaklösung thus obtained is lower than it was after known working method is available, one has the advantage of a smaller one and simpler apparatus; but one still comes to a concentration from 25 to 30 percent, in which the Ammorniaklösting obtained can easily be reused is.

When the solution is cooled for storage, shipping, etc. should, this can be done outside of the absorption apparatus in simple, easily accessible Coolers take place; however, the present method also offers significant advantages for the extraction of ammonia gas, as it is for most purposes of further processing is required. It is sufficient to use the hot ammonia solution emerging from the absorption apparatus to relax in order to make a large part of their ammonia content directly in gaseous form To maintain shape. The rest of the ammonia can then still be removed from the relaxation cooled and weaker ammonia solution are largely expelled, by mixing the solution with the hot residual gases emerging from the absorption apparatus heated, e.g. B. by passing them through the pipes through which these gases flow. The very dilute ammonia solution that remains can be used again as a detergent can be used for the absorption of further ammonia from the high pressure gas. In this way, it ultimately succeeds in the high-pressure gases in diluted Form present _gmmoniak in a simple way without special expenditure of energy in Transfer high-percentage ammonia gas suitable for further processing.
